"What do you want?!" I spat, looking at her coldly. I thought she loved me.

"No need to be harsh now, Percy," she said calmly as though she hadn't just abandoned me and chose godhood. The sun was setting over the horizon.

"Why?" I asked weakly. My anger turning to sadness.

"Because I didn't want to lose you, Percy. I didn't want you to be hurt when I die. You went through Tartarus for me! What if something like that happens again to you because of me?" She said. She seemed to be about to break down in tears.

That would have probably been enough to convince anyone. Except maybe the Prince of Lies. I don't know how, but I immediately knew she was lying. My anger returned at the prospect of being lied to.

"LIES, speak the truth Annabeth, I command you!" I said in a voice that sounded like mine, but was ancient and filled with power.

Annabeth looked at me with wide eyes and started choking as though some invisible force was strangling her. She looked at me and spoke.

"Athena offered me a choice. She threatened to take my title as Olympus's architect if I denied godhood. So it was either you or my work." She choked out. All of a sudden she started breathing normally. She then looked at me with fear and hate mixed with anger.

"What are you? How did you do that?" She asked me. I glared at her and replied.

"That isn't your concern, Athena spawn. You chose your work over me. Remember Annabeth, justice will be delivered to those who deserve it. Oh, and by the way, we're done" I said with power radiating off of me.

"You have made a fatal mistake Perseus. I hold more sway over camp than you think. I will make your life miserable." With that, she took a knife from her pocket. I prepared to defend myself. I was surprised when she took the knife and stabbed herself straight in the shoulder.

She cried in pain from the impact. But soon she was looking at me with an evil smile. She turned around and started to run towards the big house. I realised her plan and my eyes widened.

'Was she always this evil?' I asked myself.

I chased after her. I was right behind her when she suddenly stopped and turned towards me with a smile. Lost in thought, I was unable to stop my momentum and dashed straight into her.

From the force of impact, she was pushed into a tree, letting out a wail of pain. I wondered why she stopped. But then Annabeth turned and ran towards the clearing.

"Help, help! Percy's trying to harm me!" She yelled running towards Chiron who trotted to investigate the commotion.

"Please, Chiron helps me. You've got to believe me. Percy hurt me, I swear on the Styx!" She said. Thunder rumbled overhead but nothing else. Only then did I connect the dots. She stopped because she wanted me to accidentally hurt her.

"What is this Perseus!" Asked Chiron, shaking me out of my thoughts. A small crowd of campers were gathered to see the show.

"Chiron, I didn't do anything! We got in a fight and..." I was interrupted by Annabeth, who was bleeding ichor.

"And he lost his temper and attacked me!" Wailed Annabeth. I clenched my fist in anger before calming myself. I didn't want to make the situation any worse.

"Percy, I'm disappointed in you. Will, take Lady Annabeth to the infirmary. Percy, go to your cabin!" He said motioning Will to take Annabeth. He did so sceptically, not fully believing her.

I couldn't believe what just happened. Many campers were looking at me with mixed emotions. Everyone knew how I was, yet they couldn't ignore all the evidence.

I sighed and went back to my cabin. I will have to deal with this tomorrow.

I was woken up in the morning by someone knocking on my cabin. I groggily woke up and opened the door to reveal Andromeda standing, looking at me with concern.

She was wearing a green shirt that said 'Luck Had Nothing To Do With It'. She let her auburn hair free, glistening in the morning sunlight. She wore jeans and blue slippers.

"So are you done checking me out?" She asked me raising an eyebrow, clearly amused. I blushed and didn't realise I was staring at her outfit.

Seeing my blush made her laugh a bit. "Just joking Percy. Come on, shower up, we gotta get you for breakfast." She said entering my cabin and looking around.

"Nice place you've got here. That too all for yourself" she said looking at the saltwater fountain my dad gifted me.

"I know," I said smiling. I stepped into the shower taking my clothes off. The water soothing me and reminding me of all the good memories I had.

After a while, I got out with my towel wrapped around my waist. I completely forgot about Andromeda, who was now blushing crimson looking at my bare chest. I blushed too and quickly put on a shirt.

"I..uh..we should get going," she said stuttering, still red. I nodded and walked beside her outside.

"Look Perce..." she started. I turned around to look at her.

"About yesterday... I know you didn't do it. I will believe in you no matter what. But some of the newer campers...well they don't know you as I do. So try not to make a scene today. M'kay?" She asked me, looking at me with a small smile.

I smiled broadly at her for having faith in me.

"Well, you know me. Trouble follows wherever I go. No promises sweetheart" I said. She blushed at being called sweetheart, making me chuckle. We continued walking towards the tables when the conch horn sounded three-time, signalling an attack.

"I wanted a dam break," I said. I chuckled a little at the 'dam' joke.

Andromeda looked at me weirdly. "Inside joke," I told her. She nodded and we both went to the armoury to prepare ourselves. After properly arming ourselves. We made our way to the source of the sound of monsters.

Only after we crossed the hill, did we see the monster army. It was small compared to many others I've faced. But it was large enough to cause damage to the camp. I knew we would lose some campers in this battle.

I looked at Andromeda with concern for her safety. She noticed this and smiled.

"Don't worry Percy, I'll be fine." She said. Before I could react, she kissed me on my cheek.

"Don't die today okay?" She asked me blushing as red as a tomato. And with that, she ran to join her cabin in battle formation.

I smiled, placing my hand to the stop she kissed me. I then looked at the monster army and smirked uncapping riptide.

"Bring it on, I'm ready," I said and charged
