The smell of sulphur filled the air. Smoke and dust brushed against my face as I dived down. I was descending into heaven-knows-what. It was gonna be a long way down. So obviously, I started thinking about my life choices.

   Honestly? They weren't that great.

But what has happened has happened. I knew doubting my decisions, would only lead to trouble. After all, the situation I was in was pretty bad on its own.

The small red light kept getting bigger and brighter. Whatever was on its other side, was somewhere I would not go for having a picnic.

After a minute or two of flying, I could see that the light was actually an opening to another part of the cave. I hovered right above and carefully examined it. It was like a space window, if that makes any sense.

It reminded me of the portals in the mortal movies. When you looked through it, you could see a whole new place with the terrain and everything. But when you looked the portal sideways to see if there was really anything behind, then you would find it was completely empty.

Not having anything better to do, I flew right through the portal. A bright light surrounded me, forcing me to close my eyes. When I opened them, I was in a completely dark place. I summoned Lucian, lighting up the area in the process.

The ground lit up, but there were no walls visible anywhere. It was like a pitch black, open ground. I looked around for anything to gain a sense of direction but came up empty. Then all of a sudden, I heard a soft voice.

'Come' it said gently. It wasn't any more than a whisper. It sounded fragile and delicate.

I walked towards the direction from where I assumed I heard the voice. After a minute of walking, I again heard the voice call to me, from my right. 'Come' it said again in the same tone, that made me want to curl up and fall asleep.

I turned towards my right and walked. The light given out from my wings and the Sword of Eden lit up a small platform, a few feet ahead of me. It had stairs leading to a small stage. In the centre was a thin piece of wood placed vertically erect.

It was a deep brown colour and from the looks of it, was very strong. I climbed up the stairs and walked towards the wooden stick. I deduced that it must be the staff of Moses.

I reached for it but as my hand came in contact with it, a bright blue glow started coming out of the staff. I made a mental note of something important.

Never touch anything that's placed in a strange room.

I squinted my eyes due to the light but kept my focus on the staff. I felt an unknown force push it away from my hand. The staff flew out of my grip and hovered in mid air ahead of me. It started spinning and the light it gave off illuminated the whole place.

It kept getting brighter and brighter, making it harder to look at. However, I didn't dare take my eyes off of it. Half a minute later, the staff came to a sudden standstill. The light it gave off stopped and darkness once again recovered most of the area.
