Two days after the Invasion, Naruto immediately go back to his work. Now, Naruto is in the Conference room with the Daimyo of Fire Nation and the whole Council.
"So Hiruzen said that you're already incharge for the past month after your execution to that Danzo? Am I right?" The Daimyo ask.
"Yes Lord Hideyori," Naruto politely said.
"Since you're quite adept on being Hokage, added by the achievements you've done for Konoha. You deserve this position than anybody else. I the 23rd Daimyo of Land of Fire, hereby announced that starting today, Uzumaki-Namikaze Naruto is the Fifth Hokage of Konoha," Toyotomi Hideyori said. The current Fire Daimyo of Land of Fire.
"I shall do my duties with all my heart, Lord Daimyo," Naruto said and bow slightly.
"Lets proceed to the Ceremony Room to continue this, I'm sure the whole ranks of Konoha Ninja is waiting for the Ceremony," Hideyori said with a smile fanning the fan slowly.
All the members of Council started to go in the Ceremony Room. The Civilian Councils was actually nervous now that the Fire Daimyo is here. They look wary to Naruto who smirk to them. The Shinobi Council can see this it seems like there will be a major change of power in the system of Konoha now that Naruto will officially taking over the seat.
Hiruzen and Naruto proceed to the mini stage of the ceremony room. Naruto in full Hokage Suit from his haori, Cloak, Jounin Vest, and standard suit of Konoha Ninja. He look almost exactly like Minato in his appearance. Naruto kneel to Hiruzen as a sign of respect. Every Chunin, Jounin, and ANBU is in the Ceremony Room to witness the First Stage of Inauguration.
"We are all gathered here to witness the ascended of our Fifth Hokage. You may please kneel as a sign of respect to the in-coming Hokage of Konohagakure!" Hideyori announce. The ninjas of Konoha started to kneel together with Naruto.
"Please proceed to the next step, I'm giving you the power of seat, Lord Third," Hideyori said and went to the front of Hiruzen and Naruto.
"I, the Third Hokage of Konohagakure will begin to the process of transferring the political power I have to the incoming Fifth Hokage, Uzumaki-Namikaze Naruto. Please answer this question from the bottom of your heart," Hiruzen put his wrinkled hand right hand to Naruto head.
"Do you accept the responsibility of the Hokage that I will entrust to you from now on?"
"From the bottom of my heart."
"Do you accept the burden of Hokage that I will entrust to you from now on?"
"With all my hearts,"
"Do you accept the sin Hokages that I will entrust to you from now on?"
"I will do my best to correct the sin of my predecessor and be responsible to it."
"Do you accept the Political and absolute power of the Hokage from now on?"
"I will have my honor."
"Do you promise to take care and manage the Village you'll be leading from now on?"
"I'll do my best."
"Now, as what I did say to your father, I want to entrust with you the future of the Hidden Leaf and the Shinobi World." Hiruzen felt nostalgia looking to Naruto who was kneeling with the others today.
"I shall do my best to deserve your trust, Lord Third," Hiruzen had been shock from what Naruto said. It is the same phase tgat Minato said whem he told him about that.
"What lies ahead is not, peaceful." He softly said to Naruto.
"I'm prepared for it." Hiruzen smile as he can see the exact gesture and movement Naruto did as Minato to his ceremony.
"Now, Ninja of Konoha, pledge your loyalty to the new Hokage. Stand up and put your right hand to your left chest and raise your left hand leveled to your chest. Repeat what I said," Hideyori said with his authoritative tone. Everyone did what the daimyo said.
"I, state your name, pledge my loyalty with all my heart and soul. I will follow the new Hokage's order and serves the Village for its prosperous era!" Hideyori said. Every ninja pledge their loyalty to Naruto will all their heart and soul.
"Three days from now, the Second process will be done. I the 23rd Daimyo of Land of Fire, hereby announced to give my blessing for your long term," Hideyori said.
The ceremony ended and the inauguration will happen three days from now. Naruto immediately went to the Fire Daimyo to talk to it.
"Something wrong, Uzumaki-san?" The Daimyo ask who had been followed by his guards and maids.
"May I speaks a word with you, Lord Hideyori?" Naruto seriously ask.
"Sure, lets go to your office, then," the Daimyo said.
Both of them went to the office as Naruto immediately offer the couch. He sit in front of the table, facing the Daimyo with his straight face.
"What do you want to talk about, Uzumaki-san?" The Daimyo ask who was sipping the Tea that Naruto made.
"First, Its about the Civilian Council, My Lord," Naruto politely said. He put a file to the table and push it to the daimyo. Hideyori put down his tea and take the file. He immediately and frown.
"According to the old law that the Shodaime presented to the 20th Daimyo of Fire Nation, the Hokage shall have the absolute power for taking decision. His word will be the law of the Village. Aside from that, Council must only be advising and voice out their opinion. They do not have any power to hold to be against the word of the Hokage. But as you can see, the council have the list privileged written to that report," Naruto started. He look to the Daimyo with his calculating eyes.
"Aside from that, every decision the Hokage do, needs their approval and have a voting system as if this village had a democracy nor Oligarcy system when our village is Military Authoritarian," Naruto said with a wicked smile. The Daimyo didn't see that he already fall to Naruto's trap.
