Lauren:

After what Austin said, I couldn't concentrate about anything else. He said he liked me. Most of people would believe in him, and I kinda did, but at the same time I heard voices in my head saying "He's just using you. He likes Vanessa, remember? He doesn't like you. Stop dreaming about things that are not possible". I had tears all over my cheeks and I just couldn't stop crying. To make me feel worse, I kept blaming myself for not answering nothing to him. I only appologized and walked away, leaving Austin with a sad look on his face, looking at me running away from him like I didn't liked or cared about him at all. I was walking home and I realized I still couldn't go there. My entire family would ask me why I was crying and they would know that I obviously wasn't just hanging in the beach with Vanessa. I went to the park in front of Vanessa's house. When I get upset, that's where I go. It's quiet, the trees hided me from everyone around and I liked to be alone with my thoughts. I felt ridiculous. I waited for so long to listen this words from Austin and I ruined it in matter of seconds. I should've stayed and told him I felt the same way, and he probably didn't wanted me anymore.

Austin:

At that time, the thoughts in my head became tears in my eyes. I had nowhere else to go, but all of the sudden, I decided that I needed to get out of there and I needed to hide myself. I wanted to be alone. I wanted to go away from the place it happened. I only had one place where no one would bother me. I got inside my car and drove till there. It was quiet and all I could hear was the sound of the leaves with the wind, and it was a dark night. I found a bench and as soon as I got closer to it, I saw the shape of a person sitting there. The person was so quiet that I couldn't even hear his breath, and I got closer and closer, and when I realized, it was too late. "Austin... What are you doing here?" Lauren said while she looked at me wiping the tears away. I was speechless, cause I had no idea she was going to be there. I wasn't expecting that, and now she probably hated me even more, because she got scared that I was following her waiting for an answer. I didn't wanted it, all I wanted was her. That's when I realized. I knew she liked me back. Not only because Vanessa told me, but I could feel it by the way she kissed me, and by the way we looked at each other. She wasn't the kind of girl that would kiss someone else with no meaning. She was different from everybody else. I sitted right next to her, and with my hands, I touched her face and closed my eyes going closer to her perfect lips. The same feelings from our previous kisses came back. The sparkles, the butterflies. It all came back. She was kissing me back. The sounds of the wind in our ears and the weak light made it the perfect scenario.

I pulled myself from her, knowing I needed to let her go at some point. "Don't you understand? I really like you Lauren. I've never felt like this about anybody else, I swear. Please, don't leave me here brokenhearted." I said to her while she looked down. "I like you too Austin, but there's something in my head telling me that... Forget it..." she answered before I begged her to tell me what was the problem. She started to talk, and I listened to every word carefully. "It's just... I feel like you still have feelings for Vanessa, and you're just thinking that you like me because you wanna move on. The feeling you have is not real Austin. You might not say it, but deep inside you know it's true". As soon as she said that, I got mad. Not at her, but at myself, from not being able to her how I felt. I know it was real, and I knew I had never had any feelings for Vanessa. "I know what I'm saying Lauren. You don't know what's inside me, but I do. I like you so much, please let me call you mine. Let me be yours". I sounded deseperated I know, but I just wanted her so badly. Like I said before, she was different. I was looking right into her eyes, and she was looking at me back. It was like she was watching my soul, cause her beautiful eyes stared at me with passion.

The thing I could less expect happened. She turned to me and said "I like you Austin. I'm glad you feel the same way" and this time, she was the one pulling herself closer to me. I holded her waist and our lips touched. I had a smile throught the kiss, and she sometimes stopped to laugh quietly a little. She was so adorable, and I never wanted this moment to end. This was our first official kiss, cause the other ones were always messed up by something after, but this time I knew there were going to be no words after that. And that is exactly what happened. We just kept staring at each other's eyes, cause we didn't wanted to ruin that moment.

Vanessa:

I woke up and it was finally saturday, and I didn't knew why, but school was ending in the middle of the week, on wednesday, and on friday we were going to Hailey's beach house for a week. I got a call from Hailey at about 11am inviting me to go to her house cause it was a really hot day and she said we could go the pool at her place, so I told her to invite a couple more people and that I was on my way. I was wearing some really short jeans and a top that showed my stomach and under it I had a pink bikini that I bought a week before. I got my phone with the yellow case and putted it on my pocket. My mom told me I could get her car instead of mine cause she was going to stay home all day, and that's exactly what I did. As soon as I got there, I saw Hailey friendly hugging me and inviting me to come inside. "Who did you invited?" I asked while I went inside. She told me she invited Lauren, Alex, who was taking Sarah with him, Robert, Austin and a friend of hers called Alyssa that came to my last party too. No one had arrived yet, so we kept talking for about twenty minutes. The first one to arrive was Alex with Sarah, and to be honest, I really liked Sarah. She was so nice and funny and she was gorgeous. Her blonde hair touched her shoulders softly and her eyes were beautiful. I wasn't so close to her, but I wanted to be. The next one to arrive was Robert and right after him Alyssa came inside too. Robert told Hailey that he had brought coke and he went to the car to get it. We were all waiting for Austin and Lauren, who said they were on their ways, and that's when I realized. Austin told me before that he was going to tell Lauren how he felt, but I had no idea of when. Maybe they were coming together, or maybe she still had no idea. As soon as they both came inside, I told Austin that I needed to talk to him after, while everyone was at the pool. He agreed with his head and we all went to the pool. Lauren was with a black bikini with ruffles and it was actually cute. I took off my shorts and my top and after staying a little tanning, I looked at Austin and he understood that I was calling him. "I'm gonna get some coke, be right back" I announced getting inside, while Austin said he would help me to bring it to everyone. We got inside the kitchen and I was direct and asked him if he had already told Lauren. "Not yet, I'm gonna wait a while so we can be over this drama... That's what you wanted to know?" he answered not worried about it at all, maybe even too relaxed. I told him that was it, and I told him to tell me when he did and her answer so I wouldn't get surprised. I still thought it was weird that they came together cause they looked mad at each other last time, but I couldn't understand it so I just forgot about it. He helped me to carry the coke to everyone and I stayed outside the pool till the sun was out. Lauren and Alyssa were the only girls that got inside, and Alex and Robert did the same. I couldn't stay with a messy hair right? I noticed how Austin was always trying to play with Lauren to get her attention, and I didn't said it out loud, but it was cute. He was slowly trying to win her heart, and I couldn't deny the fact that it was awesome. I also noticed that Robert talked a lot with the girl Alyssa, and I noticed how she was trying to get away from him. I think Hailey told her about her little crush on Robert, so maybe Alyssa didn't wanted to ruin a relationship. I was tanning quietly when I got a text, and it was from Mathew. "Where are you? Wanna come over to do something?" it said. In answered back inviting him to Hailey's house, and he said he was coming. I told Hailey and she said it was ok. When the doorbell ringed, Hailey screamed "Just come inside, it's opened" while Mathew came through the door. I stood up and went to him, being in my toes to kiss him. He strongly holded my waist and I had my hands on his neck. I walked him through the backyard and introduced everyone to him. He already knew Lauren, Hailey and Austin, specially because he was the guy that tried to force Lauren to be with him when Austin defended her in that night. Austin didn't knew we were dating, so when I introduced him, he got shocked. Maybe it's because he was drunk in that night, but Mathew didn't even realized who Austin or Lauren were. Still, they kept changing looks all the time. It was about 6pm and the sun started to go away, so we all decided to go inside. "Maybe we should play a game! Do you guys like truth or dare?" Hailey asked with her loud voice filling up the room. "I agree, it feels like 6th grade again!" Lauren answered smiling. I didn't wanted to play so they all made a circle on the floor and I was sitting on the couch. Hailey turned the bottle and it stopped. Austin asked Lauren what she wanted and she replied "Dare!" and Austin was looking deeply into her eyes thinking about what he was going to say.
