Chapter 10

After one week

One week has already passed. The day, the day my cousins will come is....today. A lot of questions were lingering in my head. Does Jungkook love me? Did he get a girlfriend? Does he even remember me?  Five years had passed just in a blink of an eye. He will not remember me. I sighed. Just then, I heard footsteps entering my bedroom.

My father: "Princess?"

I turned around to face my father.

"Yes, dad?"

My father: "You seem to be lost. Is something bothering you?"

"No, dad."

I lied. I fucking lied to my father.

He came towards me and started caressing my cheek.

My father: "Princess, I am your dad. You can share anything you want with me. Don't hide it to yourself."

I lost it. I hugged my dad tightly and started crying.

"Dad...I am sorry."

My father: "Why princess?"

It's because I lied to you...

"Nothing. I just wanted to say."

My father smiled sadly.

"Dad...Can I tell you something?"

My father: "Yes princess."

"My mental health is becoming worse day by day. Will I go to a mental hospital? If yes, I don't want to go. I can't stay without you dad."

My father broke the hug and made me face him. He held my chin.

Mt father: "Look at me Y/N. You are my daughter. I will never let anything happen to you. I will protect you. You are safe with me."

I smiled while crying. My father wiped my tears.

My father: "Your cousins are coming. Let's go to the airport."

My heart dropped. Jungkook.... No!

In Airport

I and my dad were waiting for my cousins to arrive. My heart was thumping like hell. My hands and legs were shaking. I was shivering.

My father: "Y/N, what happened?"

"Nothing dad...I am fine."

I lied to my dad again. I feel terrible.

My father: "Look, your cousins arrived!"

My father suddenly yelled, making me flinch.

"Dad...You scared me."

My father: "Sorry princess. I am just excited because your cousins have arrived after five years. And you know how much I love Jungkook more than the others."

Oh.... yes. My dad loves my cousins very much. Of course, they are his sister's sons. He loves Jungkook more than the other two because Jungkook is the first child and he is the only one who spent most of the time with my dad.

I looked at them. I saw my two cousins, Jimin and Taehyung. Taehyung is one year older than me and Jimin is one year younger than me. I ran towards them.

"Taehyung Oppa!"

I hugged him tightly. I was beyond excited.

Taehyung: "Wow...My little sister missed me. Isn't it?"

"Yes, Oppa. I missed you so much."

I pouted like a six-year-old girl.

"Did you miss me Oppa?"

Taehyung: "Nope. Not at all."

I hit his chest playfully.

"Oppa!"

Taehyung: "How can I not miss you? You are my little sister. Of course, I missed you so much, Pabo."

I chuckled like an idiot. Taehyung loves me very much because he always wanted to have a baby sister but unfortunately, he got a brother, Jimin. So, he sees me as his beloved sister and I am very happy to get a brother like him.

Jimin: "Hey...What about me?"

I looked at him. He pouted.

"How can I forget you, my little brother?"

Jimin: "No no. You forgot me Noona."

Jimin is younger than me. He grew up with me. I went towards him and hugged him.

"Your Noona will never forget you."

He smiled.

My father: "You guys came? Was I invisible or what? You guys went straight near your sister."

Taehyung: "Dad it's not like that."

They call him dad not uncle. They love him so much.

Jimin: "Dad you know? Noona forgot about me."

I playfully glared at him. My father chuckled at his cuteness.

They were busy discussing something. My eyes were searching for that one boy. Jungkook. Where is he? Wait a minute...Why am I even bothered? I hate him right? Did he not come? Wait...I want to see him badly.

My father: "Where is Jungkook?"

Taehyung: "He will come, dad. He went to get our luggage."

Jungkook: "Hi. Was I late? Sorry."

Jimin: "There he is. My big brother, Jungkook."

My breathing stopped for a second.
