I was in the living room watching TV with my parents, Jimin and Taehyung.

My father: "When should you go to the US?"

"I forgot to tell you, dad. Tomorrow only I should go to the US."

My mother: "Wow, so sudden?"

"Sorry mummy, I forgot to inform you."

Taehyung: "We already booked the flight tickets."

My father: "You told Taehyung but not us."

My mother: "Importance of future husband."

They both chuckled. I felt embarrassed.

Jimin: "We will be leaving tomorrow, Noona."

"I have to pack my bags."

My mother: "I have already packed your luggage."

"What?"

My mother: "Taehyung already told us that you are going to the US tomorrow."

"But why did you guys ask me again?"

My father: "We wanted to hear it from you."

"Oh."

My father: "So, this is the last day you will be spending time with me."

"Yes dad, but don't worry I will call you every day. I promise."

Anastasia's POV

Mara: "What did they do to the number 8 girl?"

Sofia: "How do I know?"

"I want my boyfriend."

Sofia: "Can you stop acting like a child."

I hung my head low and started crying.

Sofia: "Mara, did you see how the number 8 girl got released from the chains?"

Mara: "Yes, but the switch is in the guard's pocket."

"How will we get the switch from the guard's pocket?"

Sofia: "We can't even get up from the bed."

Mara: "Let me think."

"I and Mara shared our past stories but what about you Sofia?"

Sofia: "Mine?"

Mara: "Yes, tell your past story."

Sofia: "Well I ran away from my house."

"Why?"

Sofia: "I don't have parents because they died in a car accident when I was 6 years of age. Since then I started to live with my uncle. At first, it was all ok but things started taking a turn once I turned 18 years of age. My uncle prohibited me from going to school or meeting my friends. He locked me in the house. But then..."

Sofia's POV

It was raining heavily. I was in my bedroom, sitting on the bed and reading a book. Suddenly my bedroom door burst open. It was my uncle. He was drunk.
