the awkward stares
the awkward words
there used to be so much there
a blind trust
that was thought unbroken
untouchable
a relationship meant to last forever
growing old together
the afternoons filled with laughs
the sleepovers that were spent awake
talking and talking with no end
what happened to us?
awkwardness is all thats left
not even a goodbye when we cross our ways
what was thought endless
is now finished
buried deep down there are memories
of a best friend
someone that used to be there
and now
is somewhere else
