My Sun

Wednesday could no longer bear to look at the other half of her dorm room where her once colorful and bright roommate sat.

Everyday since the battle with the Hyde she has awoken with tears streaming down her face.

The colorful half of the dorm now empty and covered in layers of dust.

She couldn't bring herself to step over the invisible line she had put up.

Every time she gained the courage to go over it her mind flew
back to the colorful bright wolf she liked to call her sun.

The annoying, beautiful, bright and bubbly sun.

The one who brought her walls down and taught her that it was okay to feel.

Without her light she felt... nothing.

No more girl nights.

No more K-pop blasting in the room.

No more smiles.

No more hug attempts.

No more late night talks that she secretly enjoyed.

No one who made her everyday life worth living.

Everyday she thought of just leaving the world behind.

She remembered seeing the wolf lying lifeless on the ground.

Tears.

Fury.

Regret.

Everything she had kept herself from feeling all came out.

The wolf was gone.

Nothing mattered anymore.

Everything she wished she could've told the wolf was now lost.
Sobs erupted in the room filling in the silence.

"Why did you have to leave Enid? I need you!"

Screams echoed in the room.

"I can't believe you've made such a stupid mistake!" she muttered
as she hiccupped and sobbed.

"Why did you have to come after me?"

She should've just told her where she was going.
It was her fault.

"WHY!?" She screamed loudly as it echoed in the room.

Her cello gathered dust as it was no longer played.

Music could no longer be heard in the middle of the night.

Her braids were messy and unkempt.

Her eyes were constantly red due to the many hours she cried at night.

She always felt as if she couldn't breathe.

She didn't see a reason to live any longer.

Not without her sun.

The only time she would see her was in her dreams.

"Every time I think of you, I feel my heart break."

They spoke about what they could have been.

"I'm sorry Wednesday but I just couldn't leave you to die"

They held each other tight and close neither of them wanting to ever let go.

You can't change the past.

Her curse finally caught up with her.

She really was meant to be alone.
