"The information shows that you're still in high school and not affiliated with any company. How did you come up with the idea to participate in our talent show?"

Qin Lu opened his eyes and found himself standing under the spotlight. Familiar yet unfamiliar cameras were pointing at him from various angles. A man who seemed to be the director was impatiently mouthing something to him.

Not far away from him sat four people with strong auras and exquisite makeup. Behind them, the pyramid-shaped seats were filled with handsome young men, all of whom were now staring intently at Qin Lu.

Fleeting memories flashed through Qin Lu's mind rapidly. Without time to think them over, he quickly extracted several key pieces of information and roughly understood that he was currently participating in a talent show.

He was well aware that he should have been dead. But here he was, unscathed, and he needed to figure out what was going on before addressing the situation in front of him.

As someone who had been in the entertainment industry for decades, Qin Lu had faced countless unexpected situations, which quickly forced him to calm down.

Combining the information he had just received, Qin Lu looked up at the mentor who had just asked him a question, took a deep breath to compose himself, and smiled somewhat sheepishly, "Sorry, teacher, I'm a bit nervous."

The vocal mentor Lai Yuhang, who had always been patient, nodded understandingly. Meanwhile, Cui Zhihao, who had been observing Qin Lu all this time, did not comment. Instead, he repeated the question seriously, "We noticed that you're not affiliated with any company, and before coming to participate in this show, you were just an ordinary high school student, with very good grades—"

The imposing and usually taciturn senior mentor Yin Suli flipped through the information, tapped his fingertips on the table twice, showing a rare expression of astonishment. Arching his eyebrows, he asked, "Jinghe No.6 High School?"

Qin Lu responded with a simple "Yes" and didn't say much more.

Yin Suli looked at him for a moment, revealing the first hint of a smile since the recording began. The cameraman quickly captured this unusual reaction.

This female rapper, who had been in the industry for nearly twenty years, was known for her discerning and sharp-eyed gaze towards the trainees. Personal talent was the most basic requirement, not to mention, one couldn't fool the mentors like they were fools.

Just like earlier, there were a few trainees with obvious shortcomings who appeared confident on stage, boasting about their skills before their performances, almost driving Yin Suli away on the spot.

After singing a disappointing song, they still pretended to be modest, making up nonsense about tweaking a C chord because they thought it was too simple. Yin Suli thought to herself at the time, "Kid, what you did was not just 'a little rough', it was like standing between American and Russian troops during a battle and driving them both away. Nobel Prize should apologize to you for not acknowledging your great achievements."

However, since the show was still recording, Yin Suli had to leave some face for those selected by the production team. She simply gave a cold and direct "F" as feedback.

Yin Suli sighed inwardly. In recent years, talent shows had been popular, and young people, regardless of gender, wanted to become famous through them, either because they had dreams of being a star or they wanted to make quick money. But becoming famous wasn't as easy as they thought.

Many people believed that having a good face was the most important in talent shows, which was true to some extent. But in the end, those who could debut either had both looks and talent and relied on themselves or had someone backing them.
