The sudden rain came without any warning.

From the first drops to the pouring rain, it only took a few minutes.

Qin Lu and Liao Junchen managed to squeeze four people into their respective single tents, making the interior so crowded that they could barely move and had to huddle inside.

The staff had umbrellas, probably anticipating the unpredictable weather on the island. However, considering it was meant to test everyone's reaction, they didn't provide shelter for the members.

Among the nine people, only Jin You'en brought an umbrella. Since two single tents couldn't accommodate all nine tall guys, Jin You'en squeezed under the umbrella with the tallest Han Suyan and Wei Zige.

None of the members had expected that their imagined relaxed and fun trip would encounter a baptism of rain on the first night.

Inside the single tents, GoPros had been set up in different directions by the staff after they were built, so even though there were no cameramen following them, their situation could still be seen.

The small tent squeezed three people. Qin Lu, in order to save space, sat hunched over with his knees drawn up. Su Qinglan and Yu Zifei sat on either side, all three of them soaked through. Their T-shirts stuck damply to their bodies, which was quite uncomfortable.

The temperature on the island was high, but it was also humid and stuffy. With their hair wet and sticky against their foreheads, the sound of rain hitting the tent roof created a stark contrast with the quiet interior.

"I actually love rainy days, but only when I'm at home," muttered Su Qinglan. Yu Zifei, opposite him, nodded imperceptibly.

Qin Lu relaxed his chin on his knees and smiled. "Thankfully, we have tents. But," he glanced at the puddles inside the tent, some of which they had brought in from outside, and their clothes were still dripping, "if the rain stops, it feels like sleeping under the open sky on the beach wouldn't be much different."

Su Qinglan chuckled. "True!"

The rain came and went quickly. Just as the members were starting to get used to it, the rain stopped too.

The inside of the tents was already quite damp, and the members hadn't brought many changes of clothes, so they simply lay down on the beach, resting their heads on their arms, gazing at the endless night sky.

After the rain, the air became noticeably fresher, but there was still a sense of stuffiness.

Fan Xi made a gesture with his hand like a camera and chatted, "It's so dark. Why do I feel like we can see more stars in the wilderness? Maybe it's because we've never been to a place completely devoid of light."

The deserted island was pitch black, and it took the members a while to see each other's vague shadows. The moon was particularly prominent, shining amidst several tiny stars. The black tree shadows swayed with the evening breeze, making a rustling sound.

They had always lived fast-paced lives, waking up every day to training and rushing through schedules. Suddenly slowing down, moving away from the hustle and bustle of the city to a place where they could only hear the pure sounds of nature with their eyes closed, gave them a sense of detachment.

The more experiences one went through, the more mature they became. A person's character was shaped by their experiences during their formative years. Those who grew up in an ivory tower would find life easier and simpler. The more people they met, the more they understood the vastness of the world; billions of people were more than just a simple number.

Everyone's life was a story that couldn't be replicated, and with different experiences, even in the same environment, their feelings and thoughts would vary greatly.
