For Qin Lu from his previous life, the relationship with fans had always been very distant.

Qin Lu used to spend most of his time filming, gradually working his way up from various minor roles. He never acted in idol dramas, and sometimes didn't mind looking unattractive. Apart from filming on set, Qin Lu had a very private life. As his popularity grew, he would take two weeks off every year to travel to various places, sometimes driving through wilderness roads in foreign countries, sometimes visiting bustling cities with exotic charm. Few people would recognize him, and even fewer would approach him.

Qin Lu focused on his acting career, rarely participating in variety shows, and keeping interviews brief. To him, fans were more like "audience members," who might not necessarily like him as a person, but rather the characters he portrayed.

According to Qin Lu's understanding, if someone watched every drama he starred in, they could be considered a fan.

But they only accompanied each other through screens, without the need to meet in person or seek special treatment from each other.

So when Qin Lu was questioned, he didn't quite understand.

He lowered his eyes, feeling somewhat bewildered.

The girl in front of him, wearing a hat and a mask, couldn't see her features clearly, only her eyes. There was a palpable sense of paranoid anger in her expression, mixed with a hint of hostility, completely inappropriate for her age.

Qin Lu remained quiet for a moment, a hint of confusion flickering across his face. "Is that porridge you made?"

The girl with the hat seemed like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, feeling mocked. "Of course not!" Then, she seemed to grit her teeth and said quickly, "Lucy never eats anything I give him."

Qin Lu looked at her, still puzzled. "Then why do you give it to him? Do you know Lucy?"

The girl's eyes, visible under the brim of her hat, flickered for a moment, then a hint of certainty appeared in her smile. "We are the most compatible couple. He once said he liked girls with long hair, our zodiac signs match perfectly, and my skin is fair... I fit all of these criteria. Once Lucy sees me, he'll definitely like me."

Qin Lu found it hard to understand.

He said straightforwardly, "If that's the case, you can just meet him openly instead of causing him trouble like this. If he likes you, why did you run away yesterday?"

The logic of the person in front of him was flawed, lacking coherence. If she truly believed that Lucy would like her, why didn't she meet him openly in formal settings instead of resorting to spying?

Moreover, it was evident that Lucy had already been negatively affected.

The girl couldn't come up with a response. She stared at Qin Lu, her tone defensive and highly aggressive. "It's none of your business."

He quietly watched her. Qin Lu's eyes were clear, and sunlight streamed in through the skylight in the stairwell, revealing tiny specks of dust in the air.

The trainee standing on the steps was young, but seemed to see through the thoughts the other was trying to hide.

Under Qin Lu's calm gaze, the girl seemed somewhat guilty, her eyes avoiding his for a moment. "I didn't do anything wrong, I just like him."

Qin Lu shook his head. "Knowing that you're causing trouble for someone and still wanting to control them isn't love."

The girl obviously knew that Lucy had thrown away everything she had given him. But the contents of the note still showed no restraint.
