After the slightly lengthy first recording, the production team arranged for a bus to transport the trainees to their dormitories overnight.

Ninety-nine people crowded together with their large and small bags, sleepily waiting in line to board the bus.

Qin Lu's belongings were relatively simple, with only a 28-inch suitcase. Unlike most people who had companions from the same company, he appeared quiet among the noisy male trainees.

Many people secretly assessed this younger competitor. Even without the camera, Qin Lu still stood tall and straight. When the breeze swept his fine black hair into his eyes, he would slightly lower his head and blink a few times. Although he only wore a simple white shirt as his performance outfit, it left a lasting impression. Now, in his casual T-shirt, he looked even fresher and cleaner. After observing him for a while, one would unconsciously forget that he had been an ordinary high school student just yesterday.

Oh right, Teacher Yin Suli mentioned that he was exceptionally good at studying, to the point of being a genius. Many trainees were not good at academic subjects, so there was a certain distance and a strange sense of "awe" towards the top students. Therefore, even though many people wanted to get to know Qin Lu, they were a bit unsure of how to approach him.

A subtle awkwardness lingered for a few minutes until it was finally broken by the slightly disheveled Su Qinglan, who squeezed his way over.

Unlike Qin Lu's relaxed demeanor, his journey here was much more arduous and exaggerated. Carrying a backpack nearly half his height, holding two fully packed supermarket bags, dragging two 30-inch suitcases, and with a U-shaped pillow hanging around his neck.

The curly-haired boy was panting heavily as he rushed to Qin Lu's side and slammed the brakes on the bus. He tossed the bags in his hands aside, placed both hands on his knees, lifted his head, and met Qin Lu's surprised gaze with a smile, "I'm so tired, so tired. I've been looking for you for ages."

Qin Lu glanced at the snacks peeking out of the supermarket bag on the ground, hesitating slightly, "Are these the belongings you forgot...?"

"Yeah, yeah!" The curly-haired boy blinked, and began to ramble on, "Before I came, I made a list of my favorite snacks and went on a shopping spree at the supermarket. Although it usually takes me some time to finish these by myself, there will definitely be several people sharing them in the dormitory in the future!"

He looked up at Qin Lu with shining eyes. There was a calm and gentle aura about this boy of the same age, unlike anyone he had known before.

"What are you thinking?" He glanced at Qin Lu, then rummaged through the supermarket bag and pulled out a pack of biscuits, "Here, this is my favorite cheese flavor. Try one, and you'll understand!"

Qin Lu took the pack of biscuits, and graciously opened it to take a bite. Indeed, it had a rich cheese flavor.

But after a moment of thought, he felt it necessary to remind Su Qinglan. In talent shows, unnecessary luggage was usually screened before check-in; this was a common practice understood by everyone, and nine times out of ten, it couldn't be avoided.

These snacks would probably only survive a few hours in Su Qinglan's hands before being confiscated.

After listening to Qin Lu's simple explanation, Su Qinglan was dumbfounded.

He stared blankly at Qin Lu, and subconsciously repeated, "Uh, really?"

Qin Lu couldn't help but smile. When the song on the radio finally stopped playing after three rounds, a familiar voice came through, a pre-recorded audio by Producer Cui Zhihao—

"Dear trainees, what you just heard is the theme song of 'Infinite Youth', which will also be the first song you will perform on stage. The recorded footage will be released first, serving as the initial basis for audience voting."

"The performance will take place in a week."

The trainees who hadn't fully awakened suddenly became alert, almost jumping out of bed.

"What?! A week!"

"Yes." There was a hint of amusement in Producer Cui Zhihao's voice as he anticipated the trainees' reactions. "In five days, you will face another rating assessment."

"The assessment results will determine the final candidate for the A-class position, who will stand on the central stage among the ninety-nine trainees."

"Now, make good use of your time. Those who haven't arrived at Studio 3 in fifteen minutes will lose their qualifications for the initial stage."

Qin Lu squinted his eyes slightly.
