Qin Lu spent the evening researching a lot of information and reading all the relevant information he could find about Li Yanyu on the internet, confirming his suspicions.

This was completely beyond his expectations. If he hadn't had close contact with someone with similar symptoms before and hadn't immersed himself in understanding the psychology of the character, he wouldn't have made the connection.

Qin Lu knew exactly what kind of feeling it was because he had felt the pain when he played that character, which still had a certain negative impact on him to this day.

This was the first time he had trouble sleeping since coming to this world.

Out of habit, he picked up his phone, intending to call an old friend, but stopped when he opened his contacts.

That familiar number could never be dialed again.

Qin Lu's fingertips paused on the screen, then switched to WeChat and opened the chat history.

[Busy?]

The profile picture of a husky holding a rose was as humorous as ever, and the other party replied quickly after about two minutes.

[Lucy: At the hotel, can't sleep?]

Qin Lu dialed the number.

Lucy picked up quickly, and after a vague "Hello" upon answering the phone, he sounded like he hadn't fully woken up.

Leaning back on the sofa, Qin Lu looked out the window. "Are you already asleep?"

"Yeah," Lucy replied with a yawn. "We finished shooting early today." As he continued talking, he seemed to become more awake. "What about you? Can't sleep in the middle of the night?"

He was originally joking, but when Qin Lu's voice came through the phone's speaker clearly, through his rubbing eyes and yawning, Lucy could hear.

"Yeah. A bit," Qin Lu admitted.

Lucy paused for a moment, but instead of asking anything, he began to casually talk about some interesting things he had encountered on set today, the next comeback date for the group, and how busy he had been lately, busier than a triathlete.

Most of the time, Qin Lu just listened to Lucy speak, occasionally responding with a simple "Yeah," which prompted Lucy to keep talking. Their hotel was on a high floor away from the road, and in the quiet environment, Lucy's steady breathing could be heard clearly.

The two top-tier stars, busy as they were, chatted on a voice call for nearly ninety minutes, until Lucy, from being lively to starting to feel sleepy, got up to pour himself a glass of water and then belatedly realized there was no sound from the other end of the line.

A bit puzzled, he tried calling out, "Qin Lu?"

There was no response, only the faint sound of breathing.

After a moment of confusion, Lucy couldn't help but shake his head and smile. Qin Lu, in his brilliance, had called him for a chat and ended up falling asleep himself.

Only he would dare to do something like this.

But it was okay like this.

Deciding to leave the phone on the bedside table, Lucy pulled his eye mask back on and soon fell asleep again.

When Qin Lu woke up the next morning, he realized the call had lasted for four hours.

The husky with the rose in its mouth sent a few texts after hanging up.

[Lucy: Morning, worker. If the director scolds you for dozing off during the day, you owe me a bowl of porridge.]

[Lucy: By the way, you fell asleep without a word. Do you know how much a top-tier like me earns per hour? [Annoyed husky]]

The messages were sent half an hour ago, as Lucy's work started earlier.

Qin Lu chuckled silently and was about to reply when another message popped up.

[Lucy: Contact me if you need anything.]

Qin Lu looked at the chat box in silence for a moment, then replied with an emoji saved from Fan Xi.

[Okay]

At the film and television base, a few scattered fans were waiting outside early in the morning to see him clock in. Qin Lu earnestly told them not to come so early in case it wasn't safe, which brightened the fans' eyes.

Truly someone they loved, Qin Lu thought about the safety of his fans. It was really heartwarming.

After struggling to get up early to clock in, the fans were both sleepy and dazed. Moreover, it wasn't as warm in the morning anymore, and it was gradually getting cooler.

The group's leader posted a photo of them clocking in early in the morning and wrote a short interaction with Qin Lu, causing all of Qin Lu's fans to scream with excitement.

On set.

Li Yanyu seemed normal today, holding a cup of coffee in his hand but not drinking it, and walked over to Qin Lu.

Seeing the black coffee handed to him, Qin Lu's expression paused for a moment, but he quickly smiled as usual. "Thank you, Teacher Li."

Li Yanyu looked directly at Qin Lu and said, "No, thank you for last night. You don't need to call me teacher. If we go by age, you're the teacher."

Taking the coffee, Qin Lu's gaze was clear. "Then let's go by age. Ge Yuyan."

Li Yanyu seemed to be in a slightly better mood today, so he didn't express any objections to Qin Lu's address and just went along with it.

Qin Lu subtly observed Li Yanyu's little habits during their time together, and every symptom matched his speculation.

But because he couldn't be completely sure, it wasn't until Qin Lu accidentally saw the pill bottle fall out of Li Yanyu's pocket that he was completely sure.

Li Yanyu had bipolar disorder.
