Coach Lai Yuhang, who believes in treating the problem at hand, is a typical practitioner rather than a theorist. His teaching method is to demonstrate the lead singing once, give twenty minutes of practice time, and then have each student come up to sing in front of everyone.

Teaching in small classes means that in classrooms that can only accommodate twenty or thirty people at most, everyone's strengths and weaknesses are within the camera's range. Any slight movement would be clearly exposed under the lens.

Those who haven't experienced this drill are obviously not accustomed to it. Alongside the classroom, stood a row of staff holding cameras in silence, with every move of yours captured on film. It's definitely nerve-wracking, trying to act like you haven't noticed them and just carry on as usual, which is quite challenging.

This leads to unstable performance levels for trainees with poor mental resilience.

Coach Lai Yuhang did not have overly high expectations for these young kids with an average age of less than twenty-three, but he never expected the skill level in Class C to be polarized to this extent.

"It is fearless and unstoppable, and also, um..."

He couldn't recall the lyrics and even cracked his voice.

Lai Yuhang tried to help the kid in front of him find the right melody by tapping a few piano keys, but all he heard was the kid singing each time like a scale, never in the right key.

"...Stop. I remember your initial stage performance wasn't this bad; how come you can't even find the basic key now?" Lai Yuhang asked directly, feeling a bit puzzled.

The boy glanced nervously behind Lai Yuhang, where seven or eight cameras were pointed directly at him, stuttering, "I-I'm nervous."

Lai Yuhang could see he was a bit intimidated, and though he understood, he didn't choose to console him: "You can be nervous if you want to pursue this path, but you can't be afraid. For newcomers in this field, every camera is a precious opportunity not to be missed, because no one in this world will wait for you to adapt or become stronger. If you fear the camera and miss the few opportunities given to you to showcase yourself at the beginning, then when you are 'ready,' you will find that there are no cameras left for you."

This passage was both casual and profound, Lai Yuhang was using the most straightforward yet realistic truth to hit them. If they couldn't overcome this most basic hurdle, there was no point in dreaming of going further. It's better to change course early rather than waste time.

"...You didn't let me down. Work hard; otherwise, the only person you'll disappoint is yourself," Lai Yuhang said simply, without further ado. "Next."

Su Qinglan poked Qin Lu in line behind her, whispering, "Teacher Lai Yuhang seems gentle, but he's stricter than I imagined."

Qin Lu turned around, "But what he said makes sense. Are you afraid of the camera?"

Su Qinglan grinned, looking a bit carefree, "What's there to be afraid of?"

Qin Lu smiled lightly, "Hmm, that's your style."

Su Qinglan looked at Qin Lu's delicate profile and suddenly blurted out, "I don't think you're afraid either."

Qin Lu was startled for a moment, then chuckled cheerfully, "I'll take that as a compliment from you."

Su Qinglan chuckled twice, looking as silly as ever but seeming quite sharp.

Several consecutive performances were not outstanding. Lai Yuhang patiently watched the next trainee who came up, finally feeling a bit hopeful again.

The boy with a straight back bowed politely. He didn't seem nervous at all, his demeanor relaxed but not casual, serious but relaxed.
