We pulled away from the hug and smiled at each other. His hazel eyes gleamed with tears as he cupped my face with his hands. He kissed my forehead and left his lips on there. I felt him stroked my hair as he held me, I wrapped my arms around his waist and we stayed like that. I giggled softly as I held him. I missed him. I missed him so much. My life as been hell without him. Tears formed in my eyes and he brushed them away. He took in my appearance and smiled.

"How long has been since we've seen each other?" he asked and I tucked in a hair behind my hair and spoke.

"A year," I answered and his eyes widened.

"A year has passed and you're already eighteen, an adult now, I missed that," He says as tears formed in his eyes. I brushed them away and hugged him again. We pulled apart  and he smiled at my hair.

"Look at you, you dyed your hair blonde!" He said as he webbed his fingers through my hair. He hugged me again and squeezed the life out of me like he always did. "You look so different"

"I think the government dyed my hair so you wouldn't recognize me," I said and he rolled his eyes. He looked down at Mickey and Minnie. He smiled down at them as they barked at him and he kneeled down and patted both of their heads. He looked back at and jerked his head to Mickey. "See you got a new dog, I'm surprised Minnie didn't get jealous"

"I didn't mean to get a new dog," I kneeled down next to Nate to pet Mickey. He licked my wrist and I smiled at him. "I must've bought Mickey after I left you which I don't remember doing"

He nodded his head in understanding and smiled at me. I smiled back at him and touched his shoulder softly. He grabbed my hand and kissed it.

"I missed you, little sis," he whispered. I smiled at him and glanced down at the floor. I clasped my hands together and glanced at him.

"I missed you too," I say softly. We stood up and held each other's hands. We stood like that, not know what to say or do. I tried to form words but then I stopped. I cleared my throat and looked at him straight into his eyes. "What are we going to do?"

"I don't know, I know we can't get caught by the government if we're seen together, they'll kill us," He said and I nodded in agreement. I chewed my bottom lip and spoke.

"I have to tell Jasper," I said and he shook his head. I opened by mouth protest but he held his hand up. I stomped my foot in frustration and he waited for me patiently to get my anger out. Well, all I did was curse at him and questioned why I couldn't tell Jasper but then I finally stopped and allowed him to speak.

"I can't allow him to be apart of this again, what if the government decided to kill him if he's seen with you? You don't want that, do you?" he asked me and I was at loss for words. He was right. If anyone was in contact with an illegal person, they would be dead in a minute and erased from everyone's minds whoever met the person.

"But I really like him," I whispered and he placed his hand on my cheek.

"I know you do," He said and I smiled softly at him. I'm going to have to avoid Jasper from now on. I'm going to hate this so much. I realized I'm also going to have to avoid Nate so he wouldn't be killed. Tears formed in my eyes as I looked up at the sky.

"I'm going to have to avoid you, aren't I?" I asked him and he sighed. He nodded his head as he bite his lip. I hugged him again and he placed his arm around my back softly. "We just remembered each other"

"I know but we can't see each other or else we'll get caught," He said as he stroked my cheek. I started crying and I wiped my tears away. Suddenly an idea struck me.

"What if we meet in secret!?" I exclaimed. He widened his eyes and I nodded my head. He was about to protest but I held my hand out. "We can find a place a place, an abandoned place! That way no one could bother us or question us!"

He pondered this and sighed. He finally nodded his head in agreement and I squealed. I hugged him and he laughed.

"I missed this," He whispered.

"Me too," I replied. We finally pulled apart and he gave me his number so that I could call or text him. We hugged one last time. I picked up Mickey and kissed his head. Nate put the locket around my neck but not before he took out the picture. He hid the locket under my shirt and smiled at me. He said as long as I hid it, I could wear it everyday. We both smiled before I had to back to my fake family.

But I didn't care. Because I have my brother back. My real family. And that made me smile wider.
