Chapter 6: Reunion between two BFFs

Hello my dear readers!

So as you can see I haven't updated the story in a long time. And the reason is because I've been away in a foreign country where it's hard to get internet. Nah~ I'm just kidding. It isn't that hard to get internet in The Philippines if you can have afford it. Anyway since I was only going to be there on vacation for two months my mother thought it was unnecessary to buy internet. So I really couldn't write anything on Wattpad for awhile. So I decided to write it on Pages instead. The only problem was that I had totally forgot to copy down or make notes of important information that I needed in order to be able to write.

But now I'm back with new chapters which I need to read through... And this might take awhile... I'm also starting school... But I'll try to release new chapters ASAP.

But for now... please enjoy...

(Third person POV)

Mikhail and Cindy walked side by side towards the big greenhouse that looked like a castle mad of glass. Within the windows you could see all the beautiful trees of many colors, exotic plants and animals that didn't exist in Cindy's previous world. Outside the gate stood ten guards in matching costumes. One of the guards saw the prince come walking towards them and ordered two of his men to open the gate. Mikhail nodded his head towards the security guy and walked into the tiny exotic paradise his father had created for his mother. As they walked on the path  they soon arrived at a big pond. On the pond grew beautiful lotuses of white and pink. If you walked straightforward you would soon find yourself walking on a bridge leading to a pavilion. Inside the pavilion you couldn't help but take a deep breath as you gazed upon the beautiful scene. You couldn't help but be stunned by the beautiful people that radiated a glow that seemed out of this world. The man was lying on the young woman's lap. She had beautiful black hair and purple eyes. At first you would think she was Mikhail's sister because of her youthful face that didn't seem older than sixteen. However the young woman radiated a motherly and older aura which told the spectators that she was older than she seemed. Cindy could see from whom Mikhail took his looks from. She wore a white dress that fluttered in the mild wind and the man on her lap softly breathed with a peaceful smile as the woman caressed her hands through his blond hair.

(Cindy's POV)

– Good day, ma, Mikhail said with an informal speech as he went towards her and kissed her right cheek. This is–.

– Cindy, she said with a calm voice. I've been expecting you. Please both of you have a seat.

The Empress of Russia pointed towards the other side of the pavilion. We both sat on to opposite direction of Mikhail's parents.

– I've heard a lot about you, the empress said to me with closed eyes. You got rejected by your fiancee, thrown out of your home, disowned and now have become my son's mistress.

– Yes, that's right.

– Why? Why do you want to be his mistress?

– Because that way I can live a little longer, I answered honestly.

– Then wouldn't it have been better if you became his wife? she said still not opening her eyes. If you do you would become a member of the most powerful family in the world and even become the queen of Japan. You would get whatever you desired.

What she just had said surprised me a lot but at the same time angry.

– No, I'm not that ambitious..., I answered her back.

– Hm... Guess there are still people like you, huh?

She opened her eyes and looked up. I felt my heart beat faster as I stared into her eyes. It was like they could see through me completely. And the air became intense. If Mikhail hadn't put an arm around me I would have fainted. 

– Ma, please don't tease her, he said.

The empress stared at him and then her lips turned into a smile as she giggled.

– I'm sorry, she apologized. She's just to cute. I couldn't help but tease her a little. A mistress, huh? It's been such a long time since I've seen someone like that around me. Oh well, she won't stay in that kind of position for too long, she mumbled but we could still hear her.

I heard a groan coming from the sleeping person as I saw him open his eyes and felt my heart being attacked by several arrows.

– Father! Mikhail greeted.

He only nodded in response. 

– Anyway, my dear, the empress said. Won't you please take Mikhail and play some soccer with him. It's been such a long time since you two did have a father and son match. Besides you could use the exercise.

– No, the emperor said flat out.

– Why not?

– Don't want to.

– Then what do you want to do?

– Sleep with you, he smirked deviously. And hog you all to myself.

I felt my face redden as he said that out loud without no shame. I heard Mikhail sigh as he got up and dragged his father away.

– No! I want to be with her! he tried to struggle himself free.

– Come on father. Mother seem to want to have a private discussion. Let's not disturb her and let out that demon.

– But I don't mind if that demon comes out. She becomes more sexier and passionate the more she is angry.

– Damn masochist, I heard Mikhail mutter as they got further away.
