I now know why I was having a bad feeling. As soon as the three of us got in my room, they started squealing loudly. It was like they had just met their idols. Once they stopped, they looked at me with huge smiles on their faces.
"What?" I ask in confusion
"You didn't tell us that you were seeing someone!!!" Mali squeals
"What?!" I say in shock this time
"Oh no need to hide it anymore!! We saw you and lover boy" Mali says with a teasing smirk on her face
"Lately you've been going out during the afternoon. We got curious and decided to follow you today. We saw you laying on a bench all alone but then-" Emma gets cut off by Mali
"A REALLY hot guy approaches you and sits with you. You guys were all buddy buddy, and then he started smoking. He looked soooo hot doing it." Mali says
"Oh!!! And when you fell off the bench, he was by your side in a milisecond. After that, you two laid on the grass with your dogs by your sides" Emma sighs dreamily
"And then he walked you home and you two kept flirting before he left." Mali smiles as she reminiscences it
"Wait...so you two stalked me the whole afternoon." I clarify
"Yup!!!" They exclaim
"And you saw Tyler and I?"
"Yup!!"
"And you think him and I are dating?"
"Yup!!!"
"We're not dating!!!"
"Yu-huh?!" They look at me in shock
"We're not dating. Tyler and I are JUST FRIENDS." I tell them, but it seems they still don't believe me.
"Ohhhh. Emma they're still in the denial stage." Mali says to Emma
"Yes. They're still in the "We're just friends" stage." Emma nods
"Harley, darling, that's how most relationships start. They start with denying that they like each other by saying the two of them are-"
"Just friends" Mali and Emma say in unison
"You guys are crazy. I'm not dating Tyler." I shake my head at their craziness
"Tyler...even his name sounds hot" Emma says
"Perfect name for perfectly hot guy" Mali says
"You two are crazy..."

The next day at school, my crazy friends still couldn't get over Tyler and I. They've been teasing me non-stop all day. I was now pretty scared of getting an actual boyfriend if this was how they'd react.
"Why is it such a big deal for you two?" I ask them during lunch time
"It's a big deal because you NEVER show ANY interest in a guy" Mali says
"It's a big deal because you can finally move on from that guy who broke your heart" Emma looks at me with a knowing look. I forgot that I told her everything about Jaxon...
"Wait what?" Mali looks at the two of us in confusion
"It's a long story but basically I had-and still have- the biggest crush on Jaxon. A lot of shit happened and my heart kept breaking, and that's basically the summary of it all" I explain. After explaining, I was suddenly tackled into a group hug.
"This is why you have to give Tyler and you a chance. You need to move on from that little shit." Mali says
"I appreciate the advice, but Tyler and I are JUST FRIENDS" I say. The girls laugh and go back to calling me in denial.
"Come onnn, Harley. He's hot, he's sweet, and did I mention he's hot?!?!" Mali says
"Sometimes I think that you like him and you're the one who wants to date him" I laugh
"If you didn't get him first and if you two didn't look so perfect together, then I would be all over him" Mali admits, making Emma and I laugh
"You two do look perfect together" Emma says
"Who looks perfect together?" Reece says. The guys plop down on the floor and sit next to us.
"I hope it's us" Reece slings his arms over Emma's shoulder. Emma's eyes widen and a blush makes it's way on her cheeks. I start coughing to cover up my laughter. Mali is biting her lip to prevent her laughter.
"You okay, Harley?" Jaxon asks as he pats my back
"I'm fine." I clear my throat
"We were just talking about Harley and this really hot guy that she's seeing" Emma smirks at me. I blush and glare at her.
"Can you guys please move on?" I say
"Wait! Harley is seeing someone?!" Reece exclaims in shock
"Is it Chris?" Jaxon asks me
"It's not dating Chris! I'm not dating anyone!!" My face was bright red by now
"But you want to date himmm" Mali joins in with Emma
"Ughhhh stopppp" I bury my face in my hands
"Can someone please tell me who it is?!" Jaxon exclaims
"You won't know him since he doesn't study here." I say
"WE HAVE PICTURES" Mali and Emma yell. My eyes widen in shock.
"What?!" I exclaim
Mali takes out her phone and begins scrolling through her pictures. She then shows us the pictures of yesterday. She took pictures of him smoking and me sitting next to him. There was one of him holding me close to him so he could blow the smoke on my face. There was one of us laying on the grass. The last picture in her gallery is when Tyler buried his face in my hair outside my aprtment building.
My face was bright red as she showed everyone these pictures. Reece joined Emma and Mali in teasing me. Kaden had a smirk on his usually stoic face. Jaxon was the quietest of them all. He said nothing and had a blank expression on his face. I glanced at him often in worry.
While Emma and Mali were busy coming up with a ship name, and Reece was talking to Kaden about some random thing, I bumped my shoulder with Jaxon to get his attention.
"Hey...you okay? You've gone quiet." I ask
"It's nothing. I'm just thinking" He grins at me to show he's okay. I didn't believe him, but I let it slide.
I had better things to take care of. An example? Deleting those darn pictures and shutting up Emma and Mali.
