It was normal for people to end up in the Neitherworld waiting room after they died. It wasn't normal for a baby to end up there. One day, a small bundle of tattered F/C blankets appeared on a seat. And you can guess who was sitting in the seat next to that one. Beetlejuice was just minding his own business, until he saw the bundle out of the corner of his eye. He nudged the blankets back, and found a small baby staring up at him.
"Oh god...what the heck's a baby doin' here?!" He thought to himself. He picked up the bundle. "Guess I'll have to take care of ya," He said cheerfully. The baby giggled, E/C eyes sparkling, despite their sunken in, dead look. "I'll have to pick out a name for ya, squirt." Beetlejuice said, smiling. He thought about a bunch of names, but they sounded either too bland, too overused, or too dumb to him.
He finally settled on Y/N. The baby seemed to like the name. "Guess I'm a dad now." Beetlejuice said to himself.
