So, a comic strip here was removed by Wattpad due to violation of guideline of image usage. (most probably because of the violence?)
It depicted this author being stabbed by dear readers' anger in form of a knife. You don't miss much but just in case you're wondering why the above strip and the one below don't really connect... .

So yeah, this is the end of One Lifetime is Never Enough. For now.

Those fluffy chapters and smexy scenes seem not that long ago, don't they?

From the pleasantly warm blossoming spring feeling, swiftly turning into the north pole.

See you (hopefully) in book 2, which will be the FINAL book in the main series. 

(But I guess if you love tragedy, you can treat this book's ending as the real ending. For everyone else, I promise, I will be gentler in book 2)

For now, I will clarify the various reincarnated characters:

Mia Simmons => Xiao Hua / Bai YuLan/ Jing YuLan

Lee Tanaka => Ji SongLi

Jet Tanaka => Zhen BuFeng

James Han => HeShan

John the Barista => SunChen

Mia Simmons' mother => Hai FenChu

(Hah! Someone got this right, I recall!)

Few more canon clarifications:

- Emily Simmons (Mia Simmons' older sister) did not get reincarnated in the same timeline. Although she grieved for her sister's death, she ultimately lived well until the end of her destined days. She had her husband who loved her, as well as her son.

- Sandra is not Princess Zhang XiuYa. Although Sandra was crushing hard on Lee, she was hardly the type of woman who would feel such regret and connection to him that would cause her death. So let's say Sandra lived well as well until the end of her days.
And well, there's never a shortage of awful delusional people in life, regardless the era and age.

- Although Mia Simmons' mother died of old age and natural cause, her regret in failing to watch over her youngest daughter caused her soul to seek for her once more and felt that connection she had in the past. Although her birthed child was not her, her feelings towards Bai YuLan/Jing YuLan was sincere. Even the way she thought was still similar.

Minor explanation:

Xiao Hua's body was always Mia Simmons's destined mortal reincarnation.
Her soul (that contains the sky deity's immortal soul as well) became stronger until she 'woke up' (in the simplest term) and remembered her past memories of Mia Simmons as Xiao Hua.
She did not remember Xiao Hua's childhood memory because her soul was already much stronger, practically her tiny mortal soul as Xiao Hua was no longer negligible.

So she had been both transmigrated & rebirthed at the same time. No lone term of the two can explain her peculiar existence as Xiao Hua/YuLan, but it definitely was caused by the immortal soul (SongLi's immortal soul) inside of her.

There will be some reincarnations occurring in the next book as well, from our well-loved main characters, and some of their beloved friends.
