Lights twinkled like a thousand stars, the power of the nature around us was tangible.
We had to live in peace with it, there was no use fighting it.

Equilibrium would always be restored.
Noah had to die for the world to be as it was, he tried to break the bonds that nature decreed to bind, and for that he faced the harshest of punishments.

The bite he gave had since faded into nothingness, and Greyson had replaced it with his own. Stronger. Harder. Darker.

He was ten times the man his brother was though even still he struggled to see it, but in the long and lonely winter nights he still awoke drenched in cold sweat.

Maybe things would never completely be the way they should?
Only time would tell.

I smiled to the sky, the beauty of the ball room was enough to have anyone on their knees. Pale green vines tumbled down palace walls, flowers with spasms of colour interrupting the blockage of nature.

We were in the Black Thorn Pack, for the annual celebration of the Altum ball, Greyson told me every year every Alpha and their Luna in the nation had to attend.

Black Thorns Alpha, a kind eyed man by the name of Emmet stood talking animatedly to Greyson and another Alpha named Kaden.

Kaden's Luna, Arden, had taken it upon herself to keep me company, she was a funny little thing, bright sea blue eyes, lit up her entire visage along with a thousand watt smile, revealing straight white teeth. "-And in the winter we hunt boar for stocks!" She said excitedly, I couldn't help but smile. She told me she had recently birthed two pups, both were with Kaden's sister tonight.

"Amora?" She laughed.

I raised my eyebrows, "yes?"

Music danced  light through the dusky air, the sky lit with what seemed like a thousand lanterns glowing as though they were stars.

People danced through one another like thread through fine cloth, interlinking, weaving, darting and turning. Joy reflected in every face, fat with sun.

I glanced to Greyson, strong jaw and dazzling grin, I couldn't help but smile as his eyes met mine.

"I said how long till you're due?" Arden giggled, hanging me a glass of water.

"What?" I asked confused, "Due for what?"

"You don't know?" Her smile grew tenfold. Her eyes lit like the lanterns adorning the ballroom, or the millions of tiny sequins sown into her chamomile dress

She laughed as a bird flew through a window of the ballroom, white as driven snow it darted around the great glass ceiling before circling back and leaving as quickly as it had came. A dove. What a strange sight, I couldn't help but smile. Especially when my eyes caught Greyson's once more, and Arden's words caused fire works to explode within my heart.

"Amora, you're pregnant."
