Mary Magdalene by Van Dyck:

Unfortunately for us Brit Paranormalists, this haunted painting no longer resides in the United Kingdom, having been sold to a lucky American dealer in 2006. According to legend, the painting was originally part of a much larger work by Van Dyck, but was cut from the canvass after successive owners began experiencing strange, supernatural activity. The painting is said to be haunted by the spirit of the model who posed as Mary Magdalene for Van Dyck at Eltham Palace. The story states that the model became so obsessed with her character that posing for the painting eventually drove her mad. To this day, her ghost is said to haunt the painting, occasionally possessing the face, so as to move the eyes and whisper the word Eltham .
