Estes Park, Colorado.
To experience chills and thrills at any time, simply vacation at a famously haunted hotel and see what happens - this strategy is what led world famous horror novelist Stephen King to write one of his bestselling masterpieces, The Shining, after he intentionally checked into a famously haunted Colorado hotel for his own experience.
The Stanley offers several ghosts, and guests can also visit the creepy underground tunnel beneath the hotel. The hotel’s original owner, F.O. Stanley, is known to haunt the hotel along with his wife, dressed in formal attire on the main staircase and in other public areas, while her piano occasionally plays itself. This is just a couple of many ghosts that are said to haunt this location.
