Regret ran through me as I tried to look for a chair to sit in because these feet of mines weren't gonna be able to stand much longer. My mother and I had been shopping for over four hours now. I was still trying to figure out who was going to carry all those thousands of bags that sat in the truck of my car into the house, cause it sure ass hell wasn't going to be me.

" Ouuu." My mother said for the hundredth time as she picked up yet another outfit for Treasure. " Chi, isn't this cute ? My granny baby will look so gorgeous in this."

" Yea. So pretty." I halfhearted spoke.

She sighs placing the outfit down, coming over to where I stood. " What's the matter? You feeling alright ?" I nod, crossing my arms over my chest, laying them on my belly. " I'm fine. Just a bit tired and my feet are killing me."

" You should have spoken up the minute they started hurting baby. Here let me get this outfit and then we'll be on our way."

" Great!" I hyped up at the mention of going home. " Well I'll be in the car waiting. I need to do some thinking and to hopefully get finished with my report."

" Chi, remember don't work yourself too hard. You still have another year in college. You'll get another chance to have your article picked and choose and placed for the winners draft. You got another chance honey." She places her hand on my arm. I give her a reassurance smile. " Right now you need to focus on being a mother. Your doing wonderful already, just take everything one step at a time."

" I will."

" Ok."

We head different directions with me heading straight for the exit. It took a minute to look for her car, considering the fact that I had a half of a mind to just turn back around, take the pain and wait until my mother was done with shopping so she could find the car. Then again just before I fully left the store I'd seen her speed walking to another outfit, so that option was out the window of doing.

My phone rings in my back pocket. I pull it out seeing it's my cousin, Nialey.

I answer, placing the phone to my ear, still keeping a watchful eye out on my surroundings. " Hey boo!"

" Hey love. What you doing ?"

" Heading back to the car. Hopefully I can get some work done while waiting for my mother. What about you honey bun?" She smacks her lips. " Nothing basically bored in this big ass house." I didn't have to see her to know she was pouting on the other end.

" Awe poor baby. Imagine me in that little ass house. I feel the same. I don't know it's just quite, you know not what I'm used to." I lived in a house full of kids, there was always screaming, yelling, talking, all the above that comes along with busy body kids. " That's the same thing I was thinking." Nialey giggles on the other end.

I find the car, heading towards it, opening the passenger side of the door, getting inside and getting comfortable.

" Wheww boo that sounded like a struggle." Nialey comments.

" It was."

" So tell me. Is there any signs of Treasure right ?" Nialey asked for reassurance of Treasure's name.

" Yes. Treasure Reigns." I gush at the name. I feel in love with it the minute I made it up for her.

" Ok good. Aunt didn't wanna mess up the name." She chuckles. " Is there any signs of baby girl coming soon or what ? Yesterday we had your ass walking baby girl should be here today or tomorrow."
