Chi.

Summer dawns on us. I wipe a thick coat of sweat from my forehead, blowing out a breathe. At this second I would gladly trade places with Mir in helping to get ready the kids to come out and get into the car. I cringe at the fact sweat tickles down my back, making me arch it.

" Ouu." I momentarily jump at the sound of another. " I like you bent over just like this." Mir said. He bends to press himself against my backside, turning my head a bit so our lips could meet one another. " This gets you another baby you know that right." I break out into pure laughter, backing up away from him.

" Let's wait until Thor is ten. We'll have help with raising yet another kid." I gave him a wink.

Mir held his hands up with a look that said he was thinking. " I give you props for that thinking." I push him a bit afterwards closing the truck as the door to the house opens with Treasure carrying Thor on her hip.

I rise my brow. " You so badly wonder why he's attacked to you." I gesture my hand at the two. " You two are practically always glued to one another's hip. I wonder how he'll feel when we leave you at the dorm." At the mention of my baby going to college my bottom lip pokes out.

Treasure laughs putting Thor down on his own two feet. " I'm sure he'll give you two some trouble but he's got to know it's for the best of his big sister." She taps him on his cheeks. Thor lifts his head from the tablet giving his sister a toothless grin. " When I get back I bet those teeth of his will finally come into play once more." She ruffles his hat before clapping. " Now is everything set for the ride ?"

" Yea."

" Are you sure?"

I nod. " Yes. Your dad is already there setting somethings up." At the mention of her dad she gave an eye roll. " Treasure no."

" If you say so mom. I'm sure he's setting up cameras, getting hype from fans and more that has nothing to do with me being at college. Mama you know it's the same ole same ole with him." Treasure flags me off. She picks Thor back into her hold sliding the door open and getting inside.

Treasure's points were valid as they'd come. I tried my best to shield her from that hurt, that damage that he'd caused all her life. I expected him to be better as a father especially since he has four kids total yet Treasure is still that background child that he has yet to fully acknowledge. I shake my head glancing over at Mir.

" Let's just pray for the best. If he's acting that way then I'll pull him to the side so that we can talk." Mir advised but it was pointless. I've known that Mir secretly pulled Gionni to the side during Treasure's fifth grade graduation because like always he made it about him instead of our daughter.

" No." I pull Mir close to me. " I'll handle it. I don't want you two getting into it with one another. I'd rather talk to him." I let out a breathe. " Like you said let's pray that those ways are gone from him." Mir nods. I close my eyes taking in his smell.

I was exhausted with having to deal with Gionni all these years. He gave me straight bullshit even from the beginning. I guess you can call me stupid, dumb or whatever for believing that he'll ever change. I guess I hadn't been the women that could change those crazy ways of his.

" You ready?" Mir asks.

" Yep!" I tried to hide the dullness that I so badly wanted to express yet it was all about Treasure.

I couldn't let Treasure see that her dad is having me down. She'll have a fit.

" Good." Mir smacks my ass. I let out a yelp popping him in his chest.
