Chapter 7

Gyuri's POV

"Did you bring any umbrella?" I heard Eunha asked. "I didn't" I said. "Want us to drop you off to your apartment?" Mrs Lee asked. "no ma'am, I'm ok" I said. "No we insist!" She said. "No buts" She added as she saw me about to talk.

I sat at the back seat with Eunha. I flinch at the sudden thunder. It has been raining these days. I sighed as I looked out of the window. "You're scared of thunders?" Eunha asked. "yeah" I whispered. 

"Here, a mint candy, It calms me when I feel scared or something, You might too" She said as she gave me a mint candy. I nodded at her as I grabbed it and ate it. "Tell us the way to your apartment hun" Mrs. Lee said. I told her the address to my apartment.

I looked at Mrs. Lee as she drove. It's been weeks since I had been working at their cafe. They treat me like I'm their family. I feel safe with them. I also feel like I'm one of their family. I don't know how to thank them for doing a lot for me. But all I can say is that I felt like I have a family for the first time.

"Where are your parents gyuri?" Eunha asked. "Oh uhm.." I started. "Eunha, that's a personal question. Don't ask too much" Mrs. Lee said. "Sorry" Eunha pouted. "no, it's fine. I just don't know what to say because they left me alone in the apartment I am at now" I said to them. "When did you start supporting yourself?" Eunha asked.

"Since middle school" I told her. "Oh my" Mrs. Lee exclaimed. "Don't worry, I'm used to it now" I said smiling. "We're here now" Mrs. Lee said. "Thank you for giving me a ride Mrs. Lee" I said to her.

I flopped on my bet thinking and looked at the window only to see it's still raining. I flinched as thunder came. "I hate this feeling" I mumbled. I got this fear of thunder ever since no one can comfort me when I was abandoned by my parents. 

I never had anyone to comfort me. Another thunder came making me scream as I covered my ears. I grabbed a pillow and held it tightly. I can ask someone to comfort me right? I have eunha now...

I quickly grabbed my phone and called Eunha. "E-Eunha, Can you stay on a call with me... Thunder k-keeps coming and I can't seem to calm d-down" I said as I heard her answer my call. "Eunha?" a guy's voice asked. My eyes widened in shock.

"Su-Sunkiki?!" I asked in shocked. "Yeah it's me Gyuri, Are you ok?" He asked. "I-I'm sorry, I accidentally called you instead of Eunha" I said as I tried to hang. "Wait are you ok?" He asked. "Y-yeah, I just need someone to calm me down" I said. 

"I-I'll call eu-" "I can help you calm down, if that's ok with you" He interrupted me. "Are you sure?" I asked. "yeah, do you need me to do something?" He asked. I screamed as another thunder came in. "C-can you sing for me" I stuttered.

Waahh~ His voice is calming. Though he has a deep voice.. It's nice to hear him sing and it makes me feel at ease and calm.
