Chapter 27 (Part 2)

Samantha was having her wonderful double cheesy hamburger with some salad on the side. She was also watching a Christmas movie while sipping her red wine. She was feeling a little bit better that she and the team found some evidence. She was also happy that Antonio might not be the culprit. She and the team kept the letter as evidence. Tomorrow morning, she and Riya were going to Antonio's company to get more of the letters. The team would be able to conclude that Antonio is not the culprit. The problem was how were they going to convince the entire world that he was not the culprit. His name was on every single case filed against him. This was going to be difficult to erase his name. 

Samantha did not want to think about work. She continued having her burger and wine while watching the movie. Someone opened the door and entered the room. The person walked towards Samantha. Then the person stood in front of her, blocking the TV. She looked up at the person and it was White Jaguar. 

"Hello my dear. I see you bought someone with you.", Samantha was pointing at the snake in the clear box. 

White Jaguar had no choice to put the snake in the box because she was still terrified of it. "Well, I didn't like how the way Mr Cobra treated him.", she was being serious.

"What brings you here?"

"I brought some good news for you and the team. I managed to find some evidence for you. Arthit Rajkumar aka Mr Cobra has been making one drug from the three. I also found this in his storeroom in his house.", White Jaguar lifted up an orange file. 

"What's in it?"

"The truth about Antonio Lopez. Antonio is the victim of this investigation. Someone has been using his signature and his name to frame him. I looked at his original signature and he has his first letter of his name then the surname. This one who gave the receipt to Mr Cobra has a b next to the surname.", White Jaguar explained then placed the file on the coffee table. 

Samantha took the file. "Mr Rajkumar is a drug lord. Born in Thailand then moved to Los Angeles at the age of four. He attended a private school but was expelled at the age of sixteen for making and selling drugs to the students. At the age of eighteen, he killed his parents.", she was shocked by the information.

"Before I came here, I did some checking on his actually background to find out any criminal activities he committed including the cases that were will against him."

"What do you mean?", Samantha carried on reading the file.

"After he got expelled, his parent tried to home school him but he refused to learn. He was only worried about making and selling illegal drugs to his friends in this area. After his parents found out what he was doing, they were going to call the police. He killed his parents the same night and left the house. Now he is a drug lord, working with this imposter. Making drugs for the imposter to sell to those modelling companies. His ex-wives filed cases against him for physical abuse. None of them got justice because Mr Cobra bribed the police to drop the cases.", she answered. 

"That's really horrible. Why are there still people beating women and children? Why are there people beating other people in the first place?", Samantha asked herself.

"Because they want to show power and who is stronger. Also gender-power that's what Mr Cobra did to his wives to show he is powerful than them. Plus, gender-rules are also one of the main problems.", White Jaguar answered her questions. 

"This man committed to many crimes and bribed the police so many times to clear his name. I had enough reading this.", she slammed the file and looked at White Jaguar. "What are you going to do now?"

"You will see when you and the team are at the house tomorrow. Even though we can't clear out Antonio's name, we can try."

"How?"

"You will see during the process.", White Jaguar said. 

White Jaguar jumped out of the box in her hand. Samantha was looking at the file. The information was pretty useful to put Mr Cobra in to prison. There was also a small packet on the file. Inside the packet had a soft pink tiny tablet. The same tablet Liang gave Riya the day before the team left. Samantha was super excited to see this that she wanted to tell Riya immediately. She got up from her comfort sofa and walked out of the room. She started running towards Riya's door. She stopped by the door with full excitement. 

"Riya, I got some wonderful news!", Samantha slamming on the door.

Ying and Zoe came out of their rooms after hearing Samantha's slams. They wanted to know what was going on. Riya opened the door. "Yes.", she answered, trying to adjust her white cotton robe. 

"Sorry, did I disturb you?", Samantha pointed out Riya's wet hair. 

Riya felt her hair. "Oh no. I just finished having a bath.", she giggled. "What's up?"

"I just receive evidence from White Jaguar.", Samantha looked excited. 

Riya had to pretend to be happy. "Yayyyy!", she started acting.

"Yaaayyyyyy!", Zoe and Ying started jumping up and down for joy. 

"What evidence did she give you?", Riya asked. 

"White Jaguar went to a drug lord's house. His name is Arthit Rajkumar aka Mr Cobra. He has been working with the imposter in this drug situation. He makes this drug, sells it to the imposter and the imposter sells it to those companies.", she lifted the small square packet in front of Riya.

Ying and Zoe joined the group. "Then we have enough evidence to put him into prison.", Zoe said. 

"Not now my dear, White Jaguar is planning a surprise for us tomorrow morning.", she said to Zoe like a mother. 

"Oh."

Suddenly, they heard a hissing sound in Riya's room. Riya froze when she heard that. She hoped that he was hissing at another bird. Samantha looked at her.

"Are you watching a snake movie?", she asked.

Riya looked at the TV and saw a python on the screen. "Oh shit.", she flinched and looked at the other. "Now, I am watching a Christmas movie. It's an advert."

"Oooooohhhhhhh.", the three of them answered. 

"Okay, we will see you tomorrow morning.", Samantha said to everyone. 

Riya, Ying and Zoe nodded at her. She was happy to see the answer. "Good night everyone. Sweet dreams.", she said the walked to her room.

"You too.", the three of them answered together. 

Riya, Ying and Zoe looked at each other for a moment. They were happy to see some excitement in this investigation. Ying and Zoe said 'bye' to Riya and went to their rooms. Riya placed her hand on her chest. She was so relieved that they did not catch her. She closed the door and leaned against it. She could finally breathe properly. Then she looked at the floor. 

"Ah!", she saw the snake. "What are you doing here? I thought you were playing with the birds.", she said to him.

He was licking the water on the floor, not listening to her. There were big empty water bottles on the floor. She was using them to wet her hair to make Samantha, Ying and Zoe believe that she just had a bath. There was water all over the floor and the snake was drinking from it. She looked at him with irritation.

"You should be lucky I put a snake movie so that you don't get caught by my friends. Your hisses are loud.", she walked towards the bedroom. 

The snake carried on drinking a lot of water. Riya entered the bedroom. She hoped on the bed and placed her laptop on her lap. She had a video of Mr Cobra, having a meeting with some police officers and other people. This was the footage Liang sent to her not long ago. She started typing to crack a few codes. The snake came inside the room, going to the window to hear the birds sing. Riya finished cracking the codes and sent the footage to the FBI agents. She leaned on the pillows with her arms crossed. 

"This time Mr Cobra, you are not getting away with this.", she hissed. 

Then she looked at the snake. It was curled by the window. Riya shook her head then closed her laptop. She had to stay up all night because of him. If she fell asleep, he would probably eat her while she was asleep. She took a book and started reading for a while.
