He was a wild animal cutting down anything that came in his path towards me.

His icy gaze paralyzed me, holding me hostage, all I could do is watch, I tried to will myself to walk away, to move, to take myself to safety.

I was firmly rooted, my heavy legs felt like anchors weighing me down, holding me in place.

His eyes were baptised in colours of light silver and deep grey, the closer he came the more vibrant they became.

Grabbing the back of my neck he pulled my face towards him, his nose a fraction from mine. He looked at me in the eyes and made one thing perfectly clear, 'you're mine.'

Review: I felt such raw and strange emotion whilst reading this. Meela is the type of protagonist I like - someone strong but who is also willing to let out emotion from time to time. Grey is a special yet confusing character and reading about his relationship with Meela and then with his pack intrigues you in. One thing I really like is that no one changes in the book - they all are like what they begin with but just become more understanding towards the other characters. It's a definite choice for a good werewolf book and it's also a definite choice for a Bucket List Book.
