Spray Paint, Cars, Detention - Taylor Caniff Imagine

“You’re genius, Y/N!” Gracie called to you as you through your empty can of pink spray paint into the trash can. There was a smug smile on your face.

“What can I say? I was totally born this cool,” you said, sarcastically confidant. That was the kind of person you were. You were always cocky, but on the inside you had a soft heart. People at school called you the sass master. Gracie high-fived you as you both chuckled, walking back into the main school hallway. As you entered the door, swarms of students looked through the windows to see what you’d done this time. Most of them walked away from the windows, mouths gaping open, some gasping.

“Oh my gosh!”

“I can’t believe she…”

“What? What happened?”

“Y/N!”

“This is great!”

People were laughing loudly. You just continued on normally toward your locker, keeping up your cocky personality.

“What’s going on?” A high pitched voice screeched from one end of the hallway. There she came, long blonde hair and all. SelfieC’s nags could be heard all over the school. Even the teachers hated her. Everyone stepped out of the way so she could make her way out into the school parking lot, to see what all the fuss was about. You watched casually from your locker as she stopped right in her tracks in front of her car.

“Y/L/N!” SelfieC screeched at the top of her lungs. You laughed a little. Everyone in the hallway stared at you.

“Yes, dear?” you asked, sarcastically calling to her. She turned, her face hot with rage… not to mention three tons of makeup. She stormed into the school, crop top showing off her fake tan. So plastic, you thought as she made her way through the interested students.

“I’m going to KILL you!!” she screamed.

In the end, you got a detention. For spray painting SelfieC’s car pink. Whatever… it’s not like she won. You were never going to stop sabotaging her for being an arrogant bitch.

Saturday morning, you trudged into school, plopping down in the vice principals office where you would be spending the entire day. You ran your hands through your hair slightly and retied the green bandana that was worn around your forehead. It matched your green shorts. Vice Principal Bordelon was the coolest. He had big couches and Christmas lights hung up in his office. It was chill and always had soft music playing.

You were about to fall asleep on the blue couch when the door opened and shut loudly. A tall boy emerged, wearing a matching bandana to yours, which matched the shoes on his feet. “Hey,” you said. He was attractive. Very tall… muscular… good hair.

“Hey,” he said, smiling. He had braces. What a cutie! “I saw what you did. Yesterday.”

“And…?” you said, acting as if it was no big deal.

“Genius. Very badass,” You smiled at him, standing up to shake his hand. He reached out for my hand but at the last second leaned in and gave me a big smooch on my lips. He laughed at me, a smirk playing at his lips.

“That was… unexpected,” you say.

“Yeah. But so is this probably. You think I can get your number?” he asks, totally cocky and confident.

“Oh,” you say, smiling back, “that’s totally possible.”

You and Taylor hung out every weekend for the next month. He was an exact replica of you… in boy form. You guys got along so well. You were introduced to all of his friends, and they were all super nice. One night at a little movie night his friends were having, you were invited. As the movie finished, some of the guys looked over to you and Taylor sitting next to each other on the couch… unusually close.

“You guys are so perfect for each other,” Shawn said, gazing happily at you two. You look at Taylor. He looks at you. You both look down at your hands, which are entwined in each other’s.

“Well I guess…” Taylor trails off.

“I mean…” you say.

“Oh, just kiss her already!” Shawn exclaims.

Taylor smirks at you, and leans in for a perfect little kiss. The beginning of a beautiful relationship.
