Fumbling Over Words - Taylor Caniff Imagine for Sammy

I giggled a bit. “Oh, shut up, Gracie,” you’re so weird,” I said in a fit of laughter as I trampled up the stairs to the boardwalk bathrooms.

“That’s you, Sam,” she said. “I’m getting my ice cream,” said Gracie while she walked away down the boardwalk. I nodded and headed inside. After… doing my business, I checked myself in the bathroom. I smiled… the green bikini top made me look so good with the black and white striped bottoms. I hate to toot my own horn but… toot toot. I pulled my long blonde hair to the side and walked out.

Gracie wasn’t back yet, so I stood by myself and pulled out my phone. I scrolled through Instargram, and seeing nothing interesting, I closed it. Just as I was about to put my phone down, someone rather large bumped into me. I dropped the phone on the boardwalk as I gasped. The person bent down and handed me my cell. I was about to shuffle away until I looked up at him.

Gorgeous.

Light brown hair hung over his forehead and was held in place by a light blue bandana. He looked up at me and blushed, his light brown eyes getting shy to my blue ones. He was tall and muscular, shirtless, too. His ab muscles were prominent and his arm muscles bulged right at me. He had a blue bathing suit that matched the bandana on his head. His eyes looked away as his friends laughed at him from behind. “Guys, shut up,” he blushed again, this time a darker red. He turned back at me but refused to look up. “Sorry… I just… I… sorry… I wasn’t looking.” I smiled at him.

“It’s fine, don’t worry about it,” I said, grabbing his hand to reassure him. His face was practically on fire when he saw my hand on his.

“I… uh…” he stuttered, fumbling over his words.

“Shh… it’s okay.”

“I… you’re really pretty,” the boy blurted out. This time it was my turn to blush.

“Thank you… why don’t you tell me more over dinner tonight?” he smiled and looked up at me for once.

“That’s awesome. Meet you back here?” I smiled and nodded, letting his hand go.
