This isnt how i wanted to tell Ava that i was a werewolf. She was in my office with Trey just staring at me.

"Can you please stop looking at me like that".

She blinked.

"You know Ashton i think she is stuck". Trey said

"I think she just needs a minute".

Trey shook his head and he just started shaking her. "Ava snap out of it".

For a five year old he acts more mature than he should.

"I-I-I dont understand".

"Av-". Trey cut me off.

"Can i tell her please".

I nodded. If he wants to tell her then ill let him.

"Ava can i tell you something"? Trey asked.

She turned and faced him.

"Of course Trey".

"We arent normal either. We are werewolves too".

"How how do you know that Trey".

"My wolf told me and and you will have one too".

"But i dont understand. How come i didnt know about this"?

"Mommy said not to tell. She wanted you to be normal".

"How do you know all of this Trey you are only five".

He sighed. "I see the the future".

Ava's eyes got big.

"What do you mean"?

"I get visions".

"Why didnt you tell me".

"Cause mommy said not to".

She sat back on the couch. "I need to take this in".

"Take all the take you need".

She sat back up. "Okay im done tell me everything so then i can take it all in".

Trey looked at me.

"Ava do you believe in love at first sight or a soul mate"? I asked her.

"Actually i do. Something i always thought was wrong with me".

I got up from my chair and pulled it around my desk and sat it in front of her. And then sat down and grabbed her hand.

She looked down and smiled.

"Well when you're a werewolf you have a mate. That person is basically in the human world husband and wife but for life".

She nodded. "So...am i...your mate". She said slowly.

I smiled and nodded. "Yeah".

"So is that why i feel something when we touch".

"Yeah it is". I said rubbing the back of her hands with my thumbs.

She started to blush. Which was adorable.

"Wait then how come i dont have my umm wolf you say".

"You're a late bloomer". Trey said.

"So when mom uh died its because daddy died".

"Some mates really cant live without the other and they just give up on life".

I nodded. "Oh....aww thats so sad". She said.
