chapter thirty four - thoughts of rain

Normal POV:

School starts.

School ends. The bell rings, and then..

..Rain.

En and Lilly sighed, while Aqua is surprised.

"What's the matter, Aqua?" East asked. But, Aqua does not answer, only the sound of the dripping droplets from the sky can be heard.

Then, Aqua realised. East was talking to her, "I'm sorry East, can you say that again? Please?"

"What's the matter? You seemed shocked."

"No, there's nothing wrong,"

But, little did Aqua know, that Lilly understood what happened in her mind. As Marine walked by (in the rain), he found the group of friends staring at the rain.

He became confused, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." They said altogether.

"There has to be something wrong." He said,

"You're soaking wet, Marine." Lilly told him casually, "You might get a cold."

Marine just shrugged, "I like the rain, it makes me think of my life,"

'Typical Eqno..' Lilly thought. As Marine was about to go, a girl bump to him. And she fell.. "Ouch," She said, as she looked up to see who the person was.

She was confused, but later, just smiled. "I'm sorry for not paying attention." She bowed.

"No, I'm sorry," Marine told her.

Then, they began to argue about being more sorry and sorry until the rain began to fade. In the end, they said their goodbyes without saying another sorry.

'Another typical personality of Eqno,' Lilly thought again, but her face a bit more worried.

Lilly's POV:

I thought of the rain.

Rain. It actually rained, and it was very scary for me. In my last life, rain meant bad luck. Everytime it rained, it meant, a dog was struck, a man was dying, or anything anything bad that happens in my sight.

...

Only to me, apparently. So if I walk during the rain, outside in the streets, no matter when, or where, I will always encounter one accident, any living creature, animals or humans will be harmed or dying.

Once, in the rain, I encountered a man during my time in the rain, and he had a heart attack, and died.

Another time, was when a dog was struck by a car.

Other times, rare ones like a woman was struck by lightning near the sea, or a lifeless boy murdered on the side of the road, and a woman who suddenly went out of her house crying horribly, while her (I think) spouse was mad and was trying to throw glass bottles at her.

It was too be honest, scary.

I thought something would happen to me, so I stopped, until the rain stopped.

Oh, how cruel are you rain?
