She would have gladly fought
For me. I am disgusted to have thought
She would ever betray me instead of staying
Loyal to me like she promised.
It's unfortunate of a fate
I put myself to all because
Of my failure to embrace what was great,
So now I'm left suffering from this loss.
She was nothing more than helpful,
But I thought she was being fake
When it was dead obvious she was genuine,
So now I must deal with this dilemma.
All of this is woven into a cloak of regret.
Getting another chance is unlikely.
If only I could turn back time,
I could take back every mistake I made.
