We sat in silence as he drove back to his mansion, the radio was tuned in to an 80s song, country music. "Xavier, can I trust you?" He stops for pedestrians to walk through, most of them were pet owners, mostly dogs. "Lucy, I know that we've only known each other for like two days, but you've gotta understand that between me or Hades, I am your best option." I nod and clasp my hands together. We soon got to his mansion and I go through his personal paparazzi faster this time and rush to my room. This time, I just let the tears come freely, hot tears streamed down my face like rain on a car window.

"Ma'am, wake up," what?  I ask my mind. I open my eyes and see my servant but then I remember, vampires! I jumped from my bed, pushed her as hard as I could and ran for the door, but she closed it shut. "Madam!" This snapped me to reality. "Lunch is served." "Lunch?" I question. She pointed at a table and I see what looks like a chicken sandwich and a glass of apple juice. My stomach took this as the time to rumble and grumble sensing how empty it was.

The servant watched as I ate and I felt tempted to allow her a bite of the sandwich, which was delicious, but she was a vampire, she would probably vomit it out, and I do not want to waste food. When I was done eating, she bent to take my plate and stood up, but she then stilled, and suddenly, it was Scarlett standing she whispered seven words so lightly, that if you weren't paying attention, I swear you would not hear a thing. She said, "he's not who you think he is. Run." I was about to question who she meant by "he" but she was already gone and the servant was back, she shook her head as though trying to figure something out and still confused, she left. This got me thinking Was there someone in there someone in the mansion that I should be aware of?

I ask Xavier if could please go to the park, he asked to accompany me but I declined. It took me a while to find a park in such a big neighborhood, although I was worried that I wouldn't find my way back to Xavier's mansion, he bought me a phone and gave me his numbers, so I'm covered there.

Everything on this park is so clean, swings, slides, even the freaking ground my feet is on is squeaky clean. Speaking of parks, where are the kids, they should be fighting for the swings by now. I'm only saying that because that's what I use to do when I was a kid, there was only two swing in the park and if you're not in line...

I do not even know how I got into this mess. My life will never be the same again now that I've been exposed to the supernatural. If Hades had picked a fucking wife for himself, I would be focusing on college right now, not on Hades, on Xavier or on those stupid Goths. "Oh. My. Gosh!" I say louder than I hope for. "Everything ok, dear?" I jump to my feet and see a woman sitting next to my spot. I didn't even notice her sit down. She looked like she was in her early thirties, black hair, slim figure, and eyes the color of midnight. On her neck, she had a necklace with a crescent moon. She looked like a herb seller, but a herb seller having a mansion? I sat back down and tried to calm my heart rate. "I'm fine, I'm just caught up in a web of lies," "Talk about it," I could already picture her face when I'm done, she might recommend a doctor.  "No, I would rather not," I asked her what she does for a living. "To put it in a basic form: I specialize in ancient arts, ancient herbs. But, that's just the tip of the iceberg. " I asked her how she managed to obtain a mansion here. "Oh, I'm working on a client, bad injury." I nodded and told her about me, just some minor details, like my name, age, and that I live with Xavier. "Xavier, he's a gentleman that one, he's a keeper," I try to tell her that me and Xavier were just friends but she interrupted. "I know, I know, but if it does advance, just know he's the one who can keep you safe." Why does everyone keep reminding me that Xavier is the one who can keep me safe? Even his paparazzi it's now getting kind of creepy. We said our goodbyes, I then remember that I do not even know who I was talking to. I turn around to ask for her name but she was already gone, but not forgotten.

I called up Xavier when I got lost trying to find the exit, that's how big the park was. He navigated me to one of the exits and I got in his car. "I was talking to an interesting woman in the park, surprisingly, the only person there, apart from me." I described him to her to see if he knew her because she sure knew him and what he said next sent a chill to my spine. "Oh, I see that you've met my boss, Shota."

Who is this Shota woman? Cue evil laughter.
