I do not know what changed but suddenly I am underwater, sinking, not drowning but certainly lost. We had found who we were looking for.

I hear Hades' voice saying, "Lucy, are you all right? Lucy?" I try to speak but I end up swallowing water. I wrap my hand around my throat to try and give Hades some kind of sign, but I do not know what could be a better sign than the panic I felt. I was still sinking when suddenly, I wasn't. I am back to reality and soaked in water. Yes, it was that real. I look and see her; Samantha. Her pale smooth skin is ruined with veins that look like they were about to pop out from her skin. I look for Hades' eyes and I swear if they were once black, they now just looked deadly. He had veins stretching out from under his eyes. And my skin was starting to look sunburned because of the anger he felt. "Hades,'' I whisper out. He doesn't hear me. "Hades!" I scream. He still doesn't hear me. Just how angry is he? I stand in front of him and start shaking him furiously. "Hades, snap out of it!" Oh gosh, he's starting to evaporate. And so I did what every girl did when in need of attention from her man, I kissed him. His cold lips on my hot ones are a perfect match. I feel his arms slither like a snake around me. "Why didn't you just let me kill her." I stand on my tippy toes and whisper, "Because I want to kill her myself."

I swiftly turn around and deliver a lip splitting slap to Samantha, and pin her against the wall, wrapping both hands around her neck, ready to end her if she dares. "Samantha, please listen, and I really need you to listen. Bitch, it's my life on the line here. So you have two options. One, you be a good little girl and give me the information that will save my life," I say, stressing on the last part, "or two, I chop off your head and ask one of your witch friends to extract the spell from it, either way, I still get what I need." I know what you're thinking, "Skotadi said specifically to bring her head!" I know, but first I have to give her a chance, and if she blows it, then I won't feel so guilty.

"Fine, fine, fine. The scroll is useless anyway, I'll tell you." I smile a smile that Hades always has when he knows he's won an argument. I ask the other witches to excuse us. I, her, Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus all sat down on wooden chairs, which surrounded an ancient looking table which was a giant Ouija board. "So, the spell," "I will only tell Mrs. Hades as I do not trust the men at this table. This is Skotadi's spell and I do not want it in the hands of these murderers." Hades immediately objects. "This is a trick, Lucy. She wants to get you into a room where she has you alone, so she can attack you. I mean, your plan could not be any more obvious." I look into Hades eyes and quietly assured him, in our own eye language, that I could handle this.

I get up and she leads me to a room with a dimmed light bulb, with no windows. "How do you breath in this?" I ask. "That's nothing for you to worry about since you're practically undead." I ignore that. "The spell." "Sit." She says. I sit on the bed and she takes out an old scroll. " I knew I would forget it so I wrote it down. It's written in the language of blood and only a powerful witch can translate it." Skotadi. "But, you wrote this, so how can you not understand what you wrote?" "I knew that a day like this would come. So, I got one of the witches to put a spell on it. Make it look like it had the spell, but really it was a death sentence to whoever read it. However, she was killed and so now I have no use for the spell." I nod. I know she still knows the spell off head but that's Skotadi's problem. "So, what were you doing with it?" She smiles a small smile. "Trying to take over the world, I guess," I sigh. Only a queen witch can break this spell; Skotadi. I get up to leave but before that, I look her in the eye to sense the slightest bit of deception. I am shocked to see that she has no pupil. She showed no sign of deception so I left. But as soon as I leave the room, the strangest thing happens. As I walk down the corridor, I see Hades kissing one of the witches.
