Brent's POV

I woke up and it's 9:25.

Shit! Mom wanted us to start unpacking at 9:30.

Before I could do anything, I looked out the window to see the neighborhood.

I looked out and saw a girl with a perfect body, long, straight black hair, and she was wearing a purple shirt that said 'Mel'.

That's her! She's the one I'm supposed to surprise tomorrow. She's really cute! But why is she crying?

"Brent!" my mom yelled at me,"Don't let anyone see you! Get away from the window!"

I rolled my eyes and went downstairs to get a bagel before Brice and Blake could eat them all.

Luckily, they couldn't find where mom put them so they just ate Frosted Flakes.

I grabbed myself a bagel and went to Twitter before my mom came to get us and tell us to start unpacking.

A bunch of girls who I followed last night tweeted my saying 'OMG! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!' and all that crap.

Once I finished eating, I went upstairs to start unpacking.

All I could think about was Mel. I haven't met her but I feel like she's the one I might spend the rest of my life with.

Melanie's POV

I went to the place my dad and Sydney picked out to have my party, and it's actually really nice.

After a few minutes I decided to go to Taco Bell. I barely ate my pancakes this morning so I went to get some food. I haven't really tried it, but Brent likes it so it must be good.

It's technically in the next town over and dad would flip out if he found out if I went there. What he doesn't know won't kill him though.

I went to Taco Bell and ordered a breakfast burrito and ate by myself, which I don't mind. It gives me more time to stalk Brent.

I went on Twitter and sent him my normal 'Good morning 😘😊' message, even though he won't ever see it.

After about 10 minutes, people started to laugh at me and I knew why. My purple top that has my name on it that my mom made me says 'I'm mommy and daddy's princess!' on the back. Give me a break. I was 7 when she made me this. It used to be a dress but shut up.

The laughter grew and I couldn't take it. My life already sucks and I have enough people laughing at me. I don't need anymore.

I walked to the door but before I left, I yelled "What are you laughing at?! Haven't any of you lost anybody so close to you you just want to wear something they made you?!"

The laughing stopped and I went home crying even harder then when I left.

My life sucks, and I know I can't do anything about it. At times like this, I just want my mom to be here because dad doesn't know how to handle this and I surely don't want Sydney to help me.
