Chapter 10

MELANIE'S POV

Did that really just happen?!?! The Brent Rivera followed me?!

I scream into my pillow, so my dad doesn't yell at for screaming at 11:30 at night, then run into Jessica's room to tell her what just happened.

I knew that she would be asleep at 11:30 at night, but I stormed into her room anyway.

"JESS!!!!" I screamed, "Guess what just happened!"

"What the hell, Mel?! I'm trying to sleep," she told me.

"I''ll get out soon. But guess what just happened."

"Ugh, what?"

"Brent Rivera just followed me!!! AAAAHHHH!!!!!"

She gave me her famous, 'Great, but I don't care' look and shoved me out of her room.

I skipped back to my room and tweeted Brent, 'Thank you so much @BrentRivera! You have made this the best birthday ever!! <3'

I went to sleep thinking how happy I was and knowing that Brent finally notices me.

BRENT'S POV

I was really happy whenI saw how happy Melanie was.

"Brent!" my mom called, breaking me out of my thought. "Get to bed! You're supposed to surprise the girl next door tomorrow at 10!"

It was already 11:30. Crap. Time goes by fast.

"Ok. I'm going," I told her.

I looked out my window and saw the room across from me with a light on.

I looked really close, and I saw her beautiful face again.

God, that girl is just so pretty!! She was smiling and screaming into her pillow.

Probably because I just followed her. It amazes me how much I mean to girls.

She ran out of her room but within 5 minutes, she came back.

She went to bed and I thought to myself how happy I am to have a room close to her, not to sound like a stalker or anything.

I went to bed so I could have time in the morning to shower and get ready early before I had to head over Melanie's house and surprise her.

I love the thought of doing this for a fan if it means that I get to see them so happy.

The one thing I hope that comes out of all of this is that Mel and I get to be really good friends, or closer.

I drifted off to sleep with this in my mind and before I knew it, my mom was shaking me to get up to get ready.

I couldn't wait for all of this to go down.
