Chapter 20

Hayes' POV

*A few minutes earlier✌️*

When we got to the hospital, Jess was still crying just not as much. Brent ran straight to a desk then went running to Mel's room.

All of us sat in the waiting room because only one person could see Mel at a time.

Once Brent came out, Jessica got up.

She asked the doctor if I could go in with her and he said yes. Which makes me happy.

We walked in and Jess gasped when she saw her sister.

She broke one leg and one arm. I can't believe someone would do this to her.

Jess walked over to her and just started to cry softly.

I walked up behind her and rubbed her back.

I can't image what she's going through. If this happened to Will, Nash, or even Sky, I couldn't live right.

Right when I was about to say something, Melanie's eyes fluttered open.

"Hayes! Get the doctor and the guys, I'll stay here," Jess said.

Brent's POV

Cam, Nash, and Matt were all trying to get Mel off my mind, but I couldn't.

Right then, Hayes came and he said that Melanie was awake.

I jumped up and ran back to her room.

When I got there, Jessica and the doctor was there.

"Brent," Jess said, "wait-"but I cut her off.

"Mel! Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, but," she said, "who are you?"
