Chapter 42

Brent's POV

"Why were you crying in your room a few minutes ago?" I asked Melanie after our kiss.

She rolled up her sleeves and pointed to 5 new scars. Those must have been from today. She had so many more than the day we met, and it broke my heart. "Was this because of me?" I asked holding her face.

"Well the few closer to my wrists were from the day... You know..." She said starting to tear up. "But people are right. It is addicting."

I kissed her wrist and said, "I can help you. You need to stop this."

She nodded and kissed me. "I've missed you so much, Brent," Melanie said looking in my eyes.

"I've missed you too, Melanie," I said kissing her again.

We went back to my room and pushed the bitch, I mean Ashley, out of my house.

"So. Should we get started with the bio homework?" Mel asked me.

"Come here first," I said.

Melanie's POV

I waked next to Brent and he took out his phone. "I wanna tell everyone that we're back together."

We took a selfie with him kissing my cheek and I'm crossing my eyes. He posted the picture on Twitter with the caption 'Back together with the bae! @Mel_Dawson'

There was a ton of comments that were really nice and I loved them. '@O2Lbae: OMG! Finally! #backfinally' '@BrentARivera: she's pretty, had @Nashgrier eyes, AND an amazing boyfriend! Can I be her?! 😍' '@camerondallas: bish whet?'

But there was hate too that Brent clearly tried to hide, but failed. '@JessiePay: why would you want that slut again?' '@ashleybrooks: you could do better. Call me Brent!'

I had that feeling again and I knew that Brent could read the look on my face.

"Don't think about it. They're jealous. Please not again," he said taking my hand.

"Alright," I said. "I'm gonna run to the bathroom real quick then we can start the homework."

"Fine," he said letting go of my hand.

I went to the bathroom and just looked at my reflection in the mirror. Those comments were just going around in my head and I couldn't get them out. 'You could do better than that slut' 'voluntarily?'

They're just jealous. I said in my head repeatedly. They're just jealous.

I looked at myself again and just cried silently.

My spanish teacher gave us a crap load of homework this weekend and I'm like pissed. It was a half day and we didn't really do that much. I hate homework.

I recently got attached to this show "The Red Band Society" 😍😍 that Jordi kid, yeah he's mine.
