Imagine Bakugo watching you with someone else:

The U.A Christmas dance was upon the students, they were celebrating another successful year.

The teachers stood to the side, observing and smiling.

Others had something to eat or drink, chatting in the festive atmosphere.

I stood in a far corner of the hall, just watching.

Deku was talking to his friends, Kirishima was laughing with Kaminari.

I didn't want to talk to anyone in particular tonight because I could see them.

In the middle of the hall, underneath a glittering disco ball, they were there.

He held her in his arms and they swayed to the beat of the music, looking into each others eyes adoringly.

That all too familiar feeling constrained my heart tighter as I scowled from the side.

There she was, right in front of me. Yet I still couldn't have her.

It was like he was purposefully taunting me by holding her near to himself.

He said something with that disgusting grin of his and she giggled.

I couldn't stay angry at her though. Even if she became the number one hero instead of me I'd allow it, just to see her happy.

But it was him that I couldn't stand. Whenever I saw him uncontrollable rage consumed me.

But I wouldn't act on that anger. I'm not petty or love struck. I know if I ever hurt her in anyway I wouldn't be able to live with it.

She looked over at me with those magical eyes of hers, beckoning me over.

I gave her a small smile despite the pain it caused me and shook my head.

Y/n looked disappointed but soon turned her attention back to him.

" Hey, Kacchan,"

The green haired boy had somehow made his way over to me.

"Deku, what the damn do you want now?"

He looked down tentatively before answering.

"It's just, you looked lonely and I thought you might want to come and talk to us?"

I peered over his shoulder to see Iida announcing something condescending to Ururaka and decided I'd pass.

" Why d'ya think I'd wanna hang out with you anyways. Just buzz off."

Midoriya glanced from me to the dancefloor before slowly waddling away, mumbling something incoherent to himself.

When I looked back at the middle of the hall I noticed that they were gone.

Suddenly alert I started to pace the outskirts of the hall in search of them.

They hadn't left, had they?

Eventually I came upon a small table that was empty earlier.

But now y/n was sitting there, looking down trodden.

" Hey, mind if I sit here?"

" Be my guest,"

She scoffed, hurt evident.

" So, um, where'd he go?"

" Who, b/n?"

" Who else, you seem quite lonely here."

She sighed audibly before answering.

" Yeah, he left. Then I saw him dancing with Hagakure."

" Oh,"

I wasn't pleased at seeing her like this but there was some part of me rejoicing at that moment.

" That's a shame then."

" No kidding, I was kind of hoping to dance some more but I guess that's it."

Sudden impulse made me stand up, reaching down a hand to her.

"Well then, may I have this dance?"

Fear raced round me as she hesitated, eyes flicking around.

Luckily her smirk put me at ease.

" Of course Bakugo."

A slow song came one then, to my luck.

I started to gently twirl her around the dance floor, not caring about anyone looking, swaying to the music.

"I didn't know you danced, Lord Explosion Murder."

She joked, looking up at me with admiration.

"I just have a skill for most things I guess."

" Except maybe for one thing."

" What's that?"

" Showing your emotions,"

" What do you mea-"

I was cut off abruptly as she pressed her lips to mine in a soft and quick kiss.

Pulling away she smiled at my flushed expression.

" Much better."
