I grin when I find Daniel at the kitchen table, working. I move towards him, chirpier than usual. Hope and Ryan raise their brows when their notice me. I ignore them as I settle on the chair, I place my elbow on the table and cups my chin for support. I stare at Daniel while he continues typing on his keyboard.

"Can I go for shopping?" I ask and the typing stops.

"Yes." I grin wide.

One out, two more to go!

"Can we go for shopping?" The typing stops, his eyes fixed on the screen but I could see his brows shoot up.

"No!"

Okay, that didn't work out well. Let's try again.

"Can you go for shopping?" The typing stops again, this time he lifts his head and his gaze falls on me. The tiny lines around Daniel blue eyes crinkle charmingly. My heart palpitations are so extreme, I sit there and try not to die.

Stop admiring him and get to the point.

"What do you want, Allison?Just spit it out instead of fumbling."

"I want to go shopping," I announce, rising to my feet. "With you."

He shakes his head head immediately. "I'm busy today. Go alone or take Hope or Ryan with you," says Daniel, eyeing me warily.

My eye roll is extravagant. "Hope is most definitely not my husband so she's out of the list. Ryan is my fake husband but he sucks at selecting things."

"Hey," Ryan makes an offended noise but we both choose to ignore him.

"Go alone or we can go tomorrow. I'm busy today."

"But I have so many work tomorrow," I drawl dramatically. "It's just a matter of few hours, we can get back soon."

Daniel huffs impatiently. "I said 'no', Allison." His eyes move back to screen. Totally annoyed, I grab the papers placed in front of him.

"You'll get this only when you agree to go shopping with me," I tell him as I hold the papers closer to my chest.

Really? How mature of you.

This maybe a bit childish but who cares?

"Allison," Daniel yells, rising to his feet. "Stop being childish and give me those papers."

I stick my tongue out at him. "Say 'yes' and you get this." I grin wide but that vanishes soon when my clumsy side decides to surprise me.

My feet collides with the leg of the chair causing me to loose my balance. I yelp out loudly when I fall over the kitchen table, papers flying out of my hand. I close my eyes when I hear the sound of something landing on the floor. After few seconds, I decide to open my eyes as I hold the table to stand properly. My eyes widens when I notice coffee everywhere -all over Daniel's papers- and his phone on the floor broken into pieces.
