I poke my head from the kitchen when I hear the sound of car. He's here! I bite my lip as I lean against the wall, trying not to give weight to my right leg.

Did they cut your leg off?

My eyes widen. Shut the hell up! I just twisted it.

I turn my attention back to the living room where I find Ryan, Hope and the maid, May waiting for Daniel. My breathe stills when Daniel enters the house, his face calm and composed as usual. I place my hand on my chest, trying to calm my raging heart. The affect that man have on me!

"Daniel!" I hear the voice of May, the maid, causing me to brush of my thoughts. "She's trouble. She's going to burn my kitchen. Ask her to get out, she had alrea-"

"May," Daniel calls out, his voice loud and authoritative. "First, that's my kitchen not yours. Second, that 'she' is my wife. You hear me? My wife. Third, she has every right in this house like me so you need to respect her just like you respect me. She deserves that."

Warmth fills all over me. Happiness bubbles through my veins like warm champagne. My heart goes all fluttery, and I want to over him and kiss the hell out of him.

Nice thought but I think you should go back to the kitchen, he's coming your way.

Right! I immediately move back to the kitchen —limping slightly. I couldn't help but grin wide when I find Daniel entering the kitchen, his coat gone, sleeves rolled up, hair ruffled.

"Dan-" Before I could complete, he's in front of me, his hands on my waist as he lifts me up and places me on the counter. "Hey, my so-" He cuts me off again my glaring at me. I shut my mouth immediately.

I think that's better.

I sit there silently as he turns the stove off and pours the soup into a bowl. My brows furrows when he open the freezer, grabbing an ice-cream box. He starts serving the ice-cream causing me to frown.

I close my eyes before blurting out. "I'm sorry for spilling coffee on your papers and for breaking your phone. I swear, I didn't mean to do it. I was just so excited about shopping and I wanted you to come with me but I agree, that was so childish and immature. A twenty-six year old woman shouldn't behave like this by throwing tantrums and disturbing. I promise, I won't disturb you again until you beg me to disturb you again." I stop, takes a deep breathe before opening my eyes.
