This will be similar to the one-shot I wrote when Rem visited Nova after the Quidditch match. This will be with Sirius. It's rather short. Enjoy!

Nova sat outside Three Broomsticks wearing her leather jackets, a red blouse, blue jeans, and black combat boots. She sat next to Cedric has he talked about the day before. Her head rested on his shoulder.

The could brisk wind blew Nova's hair, and almost made her beanie fly away. Cedric's hair became messy, but not as messy as Harry's gravity-defying hair.

"I swear to Merlin! Snape's a nightmare!" Cedric groaned as he told Nova about the taunts he received from the Potion master.

"I threw bat guts at him yesterday," Nova announced with a grin. "He called me a filthy half-breed or something. I got annoyed. Launched some bat guts at his abnormally large nose and said, 'For being a filthy half-breed I have pretty good aim. Don't you think, Ron?' Snape didn't like that much. Gave me detention."

"Of course you did!" Cedric laughed and smiled fondly, but not in the way a boyfriend would. More as a friend.

A large bear-sized black dog sat in front of Nova and Cedric with a bark. Without warning, he jumped and sat between the two, keeping them at least three feet away from each other.

Nova groaned internally and glared at her father.

"Wonder where he came from," Cedric said as he went to pet the dog, only for Snuffles to bark at him.

"I'm sure he is just a fat stray," Nova shrugged, hiding her anger.

"He doesn't look fat," Cedric stated. Snuffles grinned wickedly.

"Nope. He is definitely pregnant." Nova insisted.

"Nova, he's a male. He can't be pregnant." Cedric stated. His brown hair flew in the wind.

"He's pregnant with powder donut babies," Nova stated. Cedric laughed at her statement as Snuffles glared at her.

"Ced, I have a confession."

"Alright . . .what is it?" Cedric asked.

"Listen, Ced," Nova began in a soft voice. "You sound like a really great guy and all, but . . ."

"You have feelings for me as a friend?" Cedric asked.

"Yeah . . . " Nova trailed off. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry. I feel the exact same way," Cedric said, trying to meet her honey eyes.

Snuffles looked as if this was the best day of his life.

It was true on both parts. During the ball, both teenagers felt something for each other. As time went on, in Nova's mind, she referred to Cedric as her friend. Not as her boyfriend. She always addressed as her boyfriend, but in her heart and mind, it didn't seem that way.

"For real?" Nova asked looking up into his grey eyes.

"Yeah," Cedric responded.

Nova laughed uncontrollably. She didn't know why, but she found the whole situation hilarious. Soon, Cedric joined in. They laughed loud enough many heads turned to look at them.

"Friends?" Nova asked.

"You do realize that you're like my little sister, right?" Cedric asked.

"Then it's a good thing we haven't done anything." Nova laughed. "That's like Sweet Home Alabama and some pureblood supremacy shit."

Cedric laughed at her statement. Snuffles snorted.

"Besides," He said, a smirk growing on his face. "You love Harry."

"Of course I love Harry," Nova said. "He is my best friend."

"Right . . ." Cedric said, clearly not believing her.

"So what's the thing about Professor Lupin and him getting you a safety bubble?" Cedric asked as Nova walked to meet Harry and the others.

Snuffles trotted in between them, his tongue flapping in the wind.

"Well apparently I'm a 'magnet for trouble and find myself in near-death experiences'," Nova said using air quotes. "Therefore I need a safety bubble."

"Didn't you almost die from a giant chess board three years ago?"

"Yeah, but that's not the point."

"Didn't you almost die from a basilisk two years?"

"Not the point." Nova huffed.

"Weren't you the one who decided to take a swan dive off the Astronomy Tower and summoning your broom so you could fly?" Cedric asked, raising an eyebrow as he stopped to turn to Nova.

"Yup! Gave Minnie a heart attack too," Nova grinned. "Honestly, I wouldn't mind doing it again."

Snuffles made a mental note to put baby gates around the edge of every tower in Hogwart . . .or have Minnie do it.

"You are a magnet for trouble, Nox," Cedric laughed.

Snuffles stopped and picked up newspapers before rejoining the two.

"Nox!" A voice called from ahead.

Nova saw three familiar figures. Hermione and Ron smiled and waved. Harry seemed to be upset.

"I'll see you again, Ced!" Nova called as she walked away from him with a smile.

Once Cedric was out of sight, Nova turned to Snuffles. Ron, Hermione, and Harry were walking towards the two.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Nova hissed to the dog. "You could be caught! You interrupted my date!"

Snuffles looked at Nova accusingly.

"We weren't doing anything!" Nova hissed. "You were there! We both agreed that we work better as friends!"

Harry heard Nova's statement. A big goofy grin grew on his face at the news.

"I think I have feelings for Nova," Harry had told Ron and Hermione last night as the Gryffindor fell asleep with her head in Harry's lap.

"Ok," Hermione shrugged, not really bothered by it.

"Congratulations," Ron began, looking up from his Chuddley Cannons magazine. "You are officially the last person to know."

"Other than Nox, of course," Hermione added, turning a page in her books. "It's about time, don't you think, Ron? I'm getting rather annoyed trying to get him to confess."

Snuffles rolled his silver eyes.

"You're lucky I don't tell Pa," Nova hissed to the dog.

Snuffles looked at her as if to say "How do you think I got here?"

Nova groaned before turning to her friends.
