PLEASE READ!!!

This is a note from the author (me, obviously).

I want to apologize for my lack of trigger warnings. More specifically ones regarding homophobic slang and language. I did not even register in my mind nor did I think (as bad as it sounds) to add some.

I sincerely apologized for my lack of awareness. This is completely my fault.

I would like to thank @SchywithaB for bringing it to my attention that I should add them. Thank you for suggesting that I add trigger warnings, bringing it to my attention that I should add them. I am extremely thankful.

Again if it offended anyone or caused unnecessary pain, I am extremely sorry.

I will add them in the future and as of now, I am going back to make sure that I add them.

Nova woke the following morning with the sunrise, only getting two hours of sleep. Instead of getting more sleep, Nova rolled out of bed to work on Operation Peter Pan (AKA her way of allowing children of Death Eaters to escape). The name was too long so she named it something short and meaningful like the fairy tale she read at the Orphanage.

She spent much of her night researching werewolf rights and lost in thought. She was lost in thought regarding her possible baby sibling.

She knew she'd have to hear the screaming and crying, but she was only home for two months tops then she was back at Hogwarts. Having a little sibling also meant she wouldn't be her fathers' pride and joy anymore. She knew their attention would be on the baby.

But she didn't care.

She has a training session with Mad-Eye in just over an hour. Much like her fathers, Mad-Eye is able to make the trace unable to detect Nova's wand magic in a certain room for about an hour. Despite that, Nova had lessons three times a week for five hours. During this time she learned to control her magic, the skills to become an Auror, wand magic, and war tactics.

During her lessons, she would also attend Order Meetings. Her lessons often served as a ploy for her to attend  . . .well . . .as of right now anyway.

As exhausting as it was, Nova enjoyed it.

She pulled on her red converses over her feet. As per usual, she wore her blanket leather jacket, ripped skinny jeans, and a red t-shirt. She brushed her hair and left the room.

"Can you get me a cup, Har?" Nova asked, motioning towards the coffee pot.

"How would you like it?" He asked.

Nova never drank coffee before. It was a new thing she had picked up while staying at Grimmauld Place.

"The color of my soul," Nova said, trying to be intimidating.

Nova turned to Sirius.

She adored her dads. She'd do anything for them. It didn't matter if they had only been in her life for two years, they impacted her greatly.

She'd be lying if she said she wasn't working on werewolf rights purely because of Remus. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't working toward reforming laws because of Sirius's predicament.

Their situations made Nova realize how unfair and outdated the Ministry's laws and ways were.

She didn't know it yet, but as her fifth year went on, she would discover further cruelties, mistakes, terrible laws, and things that needed to be revised within the Ministry.

"I wanna see Nyx soon, Da," Nova stated. "Do you know when I can go see her?"

"I'm not sure, Pup," Sirius frowned. "Out of all the magical companions, you just had to choose a dragon."
