MY WHOLE BODY trembles and my hands grow sweaty, blood stains the carpet, and my parents lifeless bodies lie next to each other, blood pouring out of their necks.

I kneel besides my mother and grab her hand, its cold, the warmth drained.

I feel something beginning to build in my core, I drop my mothers hand and scoot away from her.

I push myself all the way to the wall and scream.

The windows and picture frames shatter, the birds in the trees nearby squawk and fly away.

I grip my chest and continue to scream, only coming to a stop once blackness fills my vision.
