—Y/n's POV—

We all stood from the Clocktower as we watched the cloud of glass come for Storybrooke. As we watched our fate cover our town.

"Belle was right, my Aunt is actually doing this." Elsa said as she passed the binoculars around.

"The Spell of Shattered Sight," Mary Margaret muttered, but was still audible enough for us to hear.

"We open the mines and the vaults, we take shelter there," David instructed, hoping to solve the inevitable problem.

"This is magic." Regina deadpanned. "It doesn't care about ceilings. It's started."

"How long?" My father asked as he handed Regina the binoculars.

"By sundown." She answered in fear. "By sundown everyone in this town will start tearing each other apart."

"Then the answer is simple," I said, still gazing out at the town. "Let's not be in town."

———

"Hardly an elegant solution," Regina scoffed, referring to the large ice wall covering the town line.

"Nothing wrong with a brute force if it works." Emma said.

"If we can get over, we can build a frame, take people over one by one," Leroy noticed.

"David, be careful," His wife sighed, not wanting to let him go. I found myself gripping Peter tighter as well.

"Yeah, yeah," He answered, kissing her quickly on the lips. David walked towards the ice barrier, as he struck it with his pickaxe, it rumbled and he was tossed back.

"David!" Mary Margaret screamed, running towards him along with the rest of us. "You okay?"

"David!" Emma shouted. He groaned as he stood.

"Looks like that wall doesn't care much for your brute force," Peter said, looking at the barrier.

"Elsa, no. Stop. Hey, no! That thing could go off again!" Emma warned as the ice cracked and Elsa picked something up from the inside. "Come on."

"It's Anna's necklace." She squealed in happiness. "I thought it was gone. It's like a miracle." Elsa said.

"Glad you found it, but sentimentality is not worth risking your life over." I said, walking towards the group.

"It's a sign, Y/n. A sign we're gonna win!"

"Is everyone into this hope thing now?" Regina sarcastically remarked.
