FOOTPRINTS appear in the snow, moving quickly to join the other students.]
"Someone's trying to sneak out..." Singed James.
"I knew it!" Lily clapped. "I knew that trouble called James Potter's genes would do something like this."
"I'm not sure whether Lily agreed to marry my brother willingly or did James use imperius curse on her?" Julianne whispered to Sirius.
"Believe me honey, I've been asking myself the same thing about us." Sirius snickered.
"What!?" Julianne glared.
"That sounded way different in my head." Sirius said quickly.
[The footprint passes Fred and George who notice it. The Weasley twins launch forward and grab something invisible.. the FOOTPRINTS reverse themselves... as if Fred and George were escorting an invisible person.]
"So you two knew?" Seamus asked.
"Yeah," Fred shrugged.
"It's nice to be dramatic once in a while." George said.
"Knew there was a reason why you two are my friends." Aurora laughed.
Fred: Clever, Harry.
George: But not clever enough.
Fred: Besides, we've got a better way.
[Fred and George drop th invisible person on a stare case. The INVISIBILITY CLOAK drops and Harry is revealed, looking cross. Instantly, Fred slaps a WORN ROLL OF PARCHMENT into his hand. Harry unfurls it. Frowns. It's blank.]
James and Sirius gasped.
"Is that?" James turned to Sirius.
"I think it is!" Sirius nodded.
Harry: What's this rubbish?
Three Marauder's gasped. "Rubbish!?"
Fred: Rubbish he says. That there's the secret to our success.
George: It's a wrench giving it to you, believe me.
Fred: But we've decided your need's
greater than ours. George, if you will.....
George: I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.
"We know that. So what?" Michael Corner asked in confusion.
[George touches his wand to the parchment and INTRICATE INK LINES surface in the fiber of the paper, spread like veins. Harry reads the CURIOUS WORDS at the top:]
Harry: 'Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs are proud to present.The Marauder's Map'...?
"Map?"
"What are those weird names?"
"Oh! I've heard them before."
George: Ah... Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. We owe them so much.
Harry: This is Hogwarts! And that... No. Is that really...
"Dumbledore!" Three Marauders yelled.
