"Novi, why didn't you tell me all this?" I asked Nova. She's in serious trouble now. And apparently (according to Uncle Stephen), the multiverse is too. I'm really nervous now. Just fiddling with my hands to cope with it.

I grab Nova by the hand and she flinches. I wish she would stop doing that whenever someone touches her. It's been a while since she was hurt and stuff. Shouldn't the trauma of it be over yet? I'm getting a little impatient.

"That's it. We have to go to that cave," Dad says. "And you two will be left in your universe's as soon as we find Keller and May," he points to Nova and Sunny.

I grasp Nova's hand harder and scoot closer to her. I feel anger rise in me.

"Mr. Stark! You can't take her away from me. I'm not letting you!" I feel my jaw shake a little as I say this. Nova notices and frowns before squeezing my hand back.

"They're both too dangerous! I haven't even told you what Keller and May are doing because of them..." he mumbles, smoothing his eyebrows with one hand.

"What Mr. Stark?" I ask angrily. He tilts his head in confusion. "What did she do that was so bad you have to send her away? What's May doing? Tell me." I don't think I've ever been angrier than this before. I'm fucking furious.

Mr. Stark puts his hands on my shoulders firmly to try and calm me down but that won't work. I don't have my parents. I don't have Uncle Ben or Aunt May anymore. He can't take away Nova.

"May and Keller have that necklace that Stephen gave Nova. The one that contained her power. They're going to use it to reopen the multiverse. It has a portion of all her power. You know what that means?" He asks. He's staring right into my soul.

"A part of Teddy is in there too?" I feel the blood drain from my face. Mr. Stark nods.

"Without a soul to manage all that... the world could literally explode. And other universes with it. Because they're going to amplify her power using the Earths core."

I turn around to Nova in shock of what even a small part of her power could do. I've been hugging and laughing with the most powerful bomb in the multiverse all this time. She knows what I'm thinking and looks down in shame.

"I'm sorry," she says. I turn my back to her. I don't want to deal with this right now. I was supposed to be building Star Wars Lego's with Ned but now I have to worry about the multiverse. I remember how things were so simple before I met her.

"We have to go. Now," Mr. Stark says, determined. "Peter, as much as I hate to drag you into trouble...it's best you come. Everyone get on the plane. NOW."

Sunny tried to make a run for it but I grab him instead and lead him out by the wrists.

"Sorry. I can't let you get away yet."

I'm a little too tired to make a funny comment.

We get on the ship.

The whole ride I pretended I was asleep. Stephen and Mr. Stark we're alone watching us. I almost squealed when I saw Mr. Stark lean in to kiss Stephen. I was so happy that he was happy. I just wish Mr. Stark would've told me. It's like no one here trusts me.

I pretend to wake up a little later when the plane lands and we all exist with our hero suits on.

Steve is holding Sunny's arms back while Stephen is only holding Nova by the shoulder. Dad doesn't trust Nova anymore. He wanted her and Sunny to be handcuffed or something for safety. But it looks like Stephen has a soft spot for her and is barely restraining her.

"Mr. Stark, how do we know where we're going?" I ask Dad. The Iron Man suit envelops him and his frown is replaced with the faceplate.

"Drastic geothermal changes and massive earthquakes. The radiation matches Nova, but it's amplified. FRIDAY can track it."

I don't ask many questions for the journey to THE EARTHS CORE!!! This is gonna be so cool. I didn't even know people could find their way into there. I thought it was too hot. But if HYDRA can make it's way through the multiverse then I suppose anything's possible. Especially with Nova's power.

Dad pushes through the group of us and out the door of the plane. I can tell he's angry by the way he raises his shoulders and clenches his fists as he walks. I run up to him and grab his arm.

"Da- Mr. Stark, you aren't going to actually send her away. Right?" He clenched his iron fists tighter. Oops.

"I mean, who would I watch Star Wars with? Or build Legos with?" That doesn't lighten the mood for him. He ignores me and gets into a- WHAT?! A submarine. Dad has a freaking submarine.

To be honest I should've expected this. He's Tony Stark. If he wants a submarine he'll buy a submarine. Or build one. He probably built this. I'm getting distracted by the submarine. Back to the point...

We all get on it and it descends into the dark waters. It's really scary right now because turns out spiders aren't great swimmers and neither am I. I decide to stick close to Nova since she makes me feel so much safer even though I'm upset at her right now. She places an arm on top of my own as soon as I sit next to her.

"I'm sorry," she signs.

I grip onto her hand.

"You're the reason May left. If you can fix this, then I'll forgive you."

I release her hand and she looks down in shame as she rubs her arm where I've left red marks. I didn't mean to grip her that hard and I give her an apologetic look.

I miss May. I'm tired and upset. I know I'll probably end up forgiving Nova later, but I'm not ready to right now. She's kept so many secrets from me.
