"Christian is fuming" Max said as he walked into the apartment where he saw Jaylah making food. "Well, it's his fault" Jaylah replied.
"I'm proud of you Jay, even it is our rival. I know they will treat you better than RedBull did" Max added as he went behind her and wrapped his arms her.
"Thank you, I can't wait to battle you on the track" Jaylah told him. "Me either baby," Max mumbled as he kissed her cheek.
"Oh, by the way. Daniel has signed everything now"Max added. "Good for him, hope they treat him well" Jaylah said. "Me too, Jay.." Max mumbled.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Jaylah asked as she turned around to face him. "I just—are we going to be okay? We are rivals now.." Max whispered.
"Mijn liefste, I know it's going to be hard but we will be okay. We have always been professional with our careers, we are two different people on and off track. We are going to be fine, alright?" Jaylah told him as she cupped his cheeks with her hands.
"It's just going to be hard.." Max mumbled. "I know baby, but we will get through it!" Jaylah added as she kissed him and finished making food.
"I love you," Max said as he kissed her. "I love you too," Jaylah replied as she kissed her back as they sat down and started to eat dinner.
