Chapter 33

Killua's POV

"G-Gon?! What's going on?" I shreaked

"I feel so guilty. I thought I was able to trust him. I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" he repeated

"Calm down, and tell me what's going on?" I questioned

"Okay." he answered hesitantly

"What's going on Gon? C'mon bud, tell me." I said trying to calm him down a bit before talking

"Remember when (Y/N) asked me how I knew where to find you guys?" he asked

"Yeah. We were actually talking about it this morning." I answered "How DID you find us?"

"I had someone keep tabs on both you and (Y/N). I'm sorry. I just needed to know if you guys were doing well while I was gone. I don't even know why I decided to trust him. I didn't know what to do. I'm sorry." Gon said

"Who was this person you had trusted?" I asked

"... Hisoka..." Gon said quietly

That's where everything went down. Hisoka and my brother had a history. Which meant that they worked well together. Not only did I knew him from my brother, but I also knew him because he had this weird obsession with Gon and I. All I knew was that Hisoka is bad news. For all of us.

"Why him of all people you would trust!?" I boomed

"I'm sorry okay! Look, I just needed to trust someone who was able to catch up with you guys. He was my only option left after giving up on trying to get Kurapika and Leorio." Gon explained

"Well. What else does he know about (Y/N). I still can't understand why you trusted him. Can you explain?" I said

"Fine. But this might take a while." He said

Gon's POV ~Flashback~

I was casually walking the streets of my town. Minding my own business, I was currently walking back to my aunt Mito's house to tell her that I would be leaving to find my father. In the middle of my thoughts, a wet substance dropped on my forehead.

I looked up only to have another drop of the substance splash on my nose. Next thing I knew, numerous amounts of the substance came pouring down. I realized that it was only rain.

"You know, you're going to catch a cold, right? We wouldn't want that, now would we?" a figure said from the shadows of a nearby ally

"Who's that? Come out and talk to me face to face." I encouraged

"Oh, please. We both know you'll be hesitant just by seeing me." said the figure

"Who are you?" I questioned

"My my Gon. look at how much you've grown!" The voice cheered

The figure stepped out to the light just like I somewhat asked it to. I regretted it right away though. The figure I saw before me, was none other than the freaky jester himself.

"H-Hisoka..." I panicked quietly

"Yes. That would be me." he said with a smirk

"What are you doing here?" I shrieked

"Why? Do you not want me here? You know, I could be of good use for you. Although, I would very much like to meet you in a battle with your friends. Please get stronger for me." Hisoka said

I stood still for a second. This reminded me of asking Kurapika and Leorio about keeping an eye on (Y/N) and Killua. What if I were to ask him to keep an eye out on them. I have to make sure they'll be okay. I began thinking this over so that nothing bad would probably happen.

"Okay. I actually have an offer to ask you. While I'm gone, I don't want you to get any ideas though." I said

"I'm all ears. What is it that you would like me to do?" he asked still with a smirk on his face

*That smirk is going to haunt me for the rest of my life.*

"I want you to keep an eye on my friends (Y/N) and Killua. As I said, I don't want you to do anything while I'm gone, and stay out of sight." I commanded

"Understood." said Hisoka

~le time skipu to when Gon saved chu and Killua~ Still Gon's POV

*I feel so close to him. Where is he!? Shoot, I forgot, he can sense me. Damn. Even if I was close, he's probably gone by now.*

I was currently away still looking for my father. Suddenly, I had something call out to me. I checked my pockets, I reached something that I had to contact Hisoka[It's not a phone -3-]. I took it out and found it vibrating in my hand, I answered and listened.

"Yeah, what's up?" I questioned

"I have either good news or bad news for you. But, from what I heard, Killua, (Y/N), and Illumi are getting riled up now. I am tempting to join in but, since you told me to stay out of sight, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do." he explained

"I'm coming back now, where are you?" I asked panicky

"A few meters away from them, on a few roof buildings. They're on the tallest one yet." he said

"Right...... Geez, even through the communication, I can still put the image of that smirk on your face right now." I mumbled

"What was that?" he asked

"Forget it, I'm on my way." I answered

And off I went back. I wasn't far from my town, so it wouldn't and shouldn't take me long. I'm just worried right now. I can't believe I had to tell most of their information along with mine just to keep an eye on them. Hisoka, you're so creepy. But I've seen worse.

Hisoka's POV

As I watched from the distance, I almost wasn't able to contain myself. That (Y/N) is something special. Her flames were something so remarkable and blinding.

*I'm so glad that I asked Gon for that information on them.*

I won't be one to blame, Gon shouldn't have trusted me after all I've done. Oh well. All he said was that I'm not able to do anything while he's gone. Now that he's coming back, I'm able to do what I've been longing to do when they were getting stronger by the moment.

~le time skipu before Hisoka broke into your home~
Gon's POV

I was outside walking around in the streets once again. I wanted to keep my mind off of the things that have currently happened.

"So now that you're here, I'm free to do whatever I want right?" a voice said behind me

"Yeah go nuts, just go back to what you were doing." I said

"Right, only I won't be able to do that. Now that I've seen you all reach your limits, I want to test your guy's power. How far are all of you willing to go? How stubborn are you guys? And.... One thing's for sure, I WILL find out." he responded

"Wait, you don't mean..." I trailed off

"I'm going to see if you guys can stand my true power. I'll be in the intention to kill you. So keep your guards up." he finished

I was about to say something, but he vanished into thin air. All I was able to hear were his uncomforting laughter trailing behind his disappearance.

So how was that? Yeah, I know, I'm in a rush and my ideas are somewhat running out. Let's just see how this goes.
