Wake Up Call

Do you ever get a wake up call that just hits you so hard you're momentarily stunned that you weren't able to see it before?

Specifically in the form of someone in your life who completely takes advantage of you? That they only 'care' about you and 'interact' with you and want to be your friend and etc when they want something from you? And if they don't want something you're just pushed off to the side, your feelings completely disregarded?

I don't know how people do this. Is it just because I'm too trusting and too caring? That I just let people stomp all over me?

Sigh.

I dunno. It sucks when you realize you can be so disposable to some people.

I keep forgetting that not everyone will treat you how you treat them.
